centres and this makes Seaforth a
bit uncommon.
"Recently we've seen people from
small towns go to larger centres for
certain medical care, for example
obstetrics, and it's good to see
people are returning to their own
hospitals for these services." .
Along with working in obstetrics,
Dr. Woldnik will also work in
paediatrics, although he isn't a
paediatrician. Soon he will be
taking a course through the Univer-
sity of Western Ontario on cardiac

also charged with possession of a

"The last two years have been
pretty hectic for us," Dr. Woldnik
said.
"By planning on staying in
Seaforth and raising our family here
we can make permanent plans. It's
time we settled down, bought a
house and put a garden in. We're
very outdoorsy people and we like
to ski and curl. We'll also be in-
volved with the United Church."
Dr. Woldnik points out that he
had a choice of 12 or 13 towns to
work in. Besides having family in
the area, he heard from colleagues
that Seaforth was a good place to
live and work and that the hospital
was modern.
"Past colleagues and other people
say I've made a good choice," said
Dr. Woldnik. "I won't be a full
partner in the office for a while, but
I'll be involved with the group
there."

year -old man, and a 33 -year-old
woman. Both reside at RR4 Clin-

Goderich December 3.
EDITOR'S NOTE • Because of
the impossibility of guaranteeing
coverage of the trials of each and
every person named by us in
news accounts of police charges
being laid, and because of the
occasional misuse of charges by
police to scare an accused into
pleading guilty to a lesser charge,
and because of police errors in
accounts given to the press,
sometimes accidental and
sometimes with the intent to bash
a suspect in the press that the
police have been unable to get
evidence on for charges, it is
policy of all Signal Star
newspapers to no longer name
people accused of crimes or
statutory offences until their trial
begins, unless the crime or the
accused or the victim is of such a
high profile that a lot of media
attention will be drawn from
outside the region.
