P`ysietherwpy News: Over 60 persona attended the "Arthritis Information
Night" last Monday, September 26th. Many were very appreciative of the ex-
pert information offered by the panel of speakers i epreeenting dietary, lab,
ftacy and physio is at the hospital. Particular thanks go to Dr.
Rodney, Dr. Bell Agnes Agnelli for their professional input as well.
The goals of the evening to bring accurate information to the public about Ar-
thritis were definitely met and the tremendous turnout of the public encourage
hospital staff to continue these information nights in the future.

SDHS honors students at
Seaforth District High School
graduating students were honoured
with an awards ceremony at the
high school Friday night with 1990
Commencement.
The highest award of honour, the
Governor General's award to the
student with the highest academic
excellence, went to Jason
Schoonderwoerd. Jason also won
the Ross Ribey Math -Finite
Mathematics, Lyons Food Market
Physics, Lyons Food Market
Scholarship for the highest OAC
average awards.
Deloitte & Touche Accounting
award was won by Jason Dietz.
Saeforth Veterinary Clinic Biology
award was won by Mary Lou
Stewart. Seaforth Creamery
Chemistry award was won by Brad
Carter. Huron Expositor English
award was won by Christi Hunter
and Jason Papple, and the Huron
Expositor award for English
Lierature was won by Tracy Bos-
man. Ansteu Jewilers Family
Studies award was won by Christi
Hunter. Box Furniture French
award was won by Nancy Godkin.
Town of Seaforth Geography award
was won by Anna Sakasov. Sills
Hardware History award was won
by Karen Campbell. Seaforth In-
surance Math -Algebra & Geometry
award was won by Jason Papple,
and the K.J. Etue Math -Calculus
award also won by Jason Papple.
The Mackay Physics award to the
student showing a keen interest in
Physics is Dave Kelly.

Memorial Scholarsip was won by
Andrew Kennedy. Bob Blowes Art
awards were won by Wendy
Bachert, Grade 9; Patricia Wynja,

Tammy VanderVeen, Grade 12; and
the most improved overall was won
by Allen Preszcator.
Canadian Parents for French
(Huron Chapter) award was won by
Morgan Murray. Leeming Memorial
Scholarsips to the top student in
each grade were won by: Morgan
Murray, Grade 9; David Kennedy,
Grade 10; Andrew Kennedy, Grade
11; and Nancy Godkin, Grade 12.
