Deighton hit for a big 228 game.
Team #2 named Mark McKellar
as team captain and call themselves
"The Simpsons". Dave Moody was
high bowler with 226 / 635. Gloria
Rozelle impressed all with consis-
tently fine games including a 219
and totalling 595. Mark McKellar
rolled games of 219 & 216 and
Sherry Tunney also hit big in two
of three with 207 and 205. Doug
Procter was steady with a 206 high
game. The strong team effort cap-
tured all three games and seven
points from the Behinders.
Team #3 couldn't decide on a
team name but did manage to hold
a share of last place by losing all
three games. Leading the team in
the cause was Barb Alexander with
214/560. The rest of the team strug-
gled and await the return of Big
Shooter Doug Leonhardt.
Team #4 also remains name - less
and, its three top bowlers missing,
(one spare arranged) still managed
to sweep all three games and seven
points from team three. The team
was led by the super bowling of
Bob Wright who hit for 231/516.
Janet Moody scored a 207 game
and spare Carol Johnston managed
a 206 to help the win.
The Rocky Rollers (formerly
Team #5) captured two games and
five points with Brian Dale 240/648
and Doug Vock 269/644 leading the
team. Joanne Knights turned in a
super 221/573 performance to get
the team off to a flying start.
Creativity took hold as Team #6
became "Four Plus Two". With
four members bowling and two
absent it was a struggle to gain one
game and two points and for the
night. Leading the team was Ralph
Johnston out of hospital and back to
the alley, with a 216/625 showing.
John Aubin also had a good night
with 207/597.
This week sees the Rocky Rollers
vs Team #4, The Behinders vs Four
Plus Two and The Simpsons vs
Team #3.
