MALONE - BEDARD
SL James Catholic Church was
the setting for the September 22,
1990 wedding of Anne Marie
Malone and Martin James Bedard.
Father Henry Cassano officiated at
the ceremony. The bride is the
daughter of Len and Audrey
O'Rourke, Seaforth and the late
Alfred Malone. The groom is the
son of Jack and Bonnie Bedard,
Seaforth. The bride was escorted
down the aisle by her grandfather
Emmett Malone, Seaforth. Jackie
Rose, Mitchell, was maid of honour
for her cousin. Bridesmaids were
Kim Malone, Dublin sister-in-law
of the bride, Theresa Wisch, Rich-
mond Hill, Andrea Pinder, London,
friends of the bride, and Tracy
Bedard, Seaforth, sister of the
groom. Gary Bedard, Seaforth was
his brother's best man. Ushers were
Bob Malone, Dublin, brother of the
bride, Rob Armstrong, Thornbury,
Dave Garrick, Seaforth, and Greg
Core, Seaforth, friends of the
groom. Carol Carter was the or-
ganist and solists were Lori Strong
and Lisa Strong. Following their
honeymoon in the Dominican
Republic, Marty and Anne Marie

SNELL - ELLIS
Northside United Church,
Seaforth, was the setting for the
September 22, 1990 wedding of
Knsta Snell and Dan Ellis. Rev.
Cheryl -Ann Stadelbauer-Sampa
officiated at the ceremony. The
bride is the daughter of Keith and
Shirley Snell, Dublin. The groom is
the son of Ken Ellis and the late
Irene, Granton. Kim Snell, London,
was the maid of honour. Brides-
maids were Jan Snell, Petrolia, Bev
Hart, London, and junior brides-
maid was Janine Ellis, Woodham.
Candelighter was Steve Snell,
Petrolia, and ringbearer was
Andrew Henderson, Dobbinton.
Craig Smith, London, was the best
man. Ushers were Paul Ellis,
Windsor, and Jim Ellis, Lucan.
Master of ceremonies was Jim
Henderson, Dobbinton. Duelists
were Deb Campbell and Bill
Campbell, Dublin, and organists
was Margaret Whitmore, Walton. A
reception was held at Seaforth
Legion, Branch 156. The couple

THE LEGEND CONTINUES, and five generations of the Netzke
family gathered at Seaforth Manor to visit with Dave and Eva Netzke
(front). The Seaforth couple celebrated their 76th anniversary.

Lioness offers babysitting course
Once again the Kids Olympics at
the Seaforth Fall Fair was a great
success. Children ages five to 13
participated in various races and
games. All participants received
suckers and prizes went to the
winners. Follows is a list of results
from the Kids Olympics.

Dr. Whitman speaks
A large crowd attended the
Seaforth Horticultural Society's
dessert meeting on Wednesday,
September 12 at the Seaforth Public
School. President Nancy Kale wel-
comed members form Bayfield,
Blyth, Brussels, Clinton, Goderich
and Hensall.
Plans were made for Ciderfest on
Sunday, September 30 and mem-
bers are asked to donate plants,
produce, preserves, baking and
crafts.
A motion was passed to spend
$90 for the repainting of logos on
two of the town signs.

successful flower show. Members
are invited to a Floral Design
demonstration in Goderich on

Guest speaker was Dr. Rodger
Whitman, founding president of the
Society and a former doctor and
resident of Seaforth. Dr. Whitman
spoke on hybridization and brought
many cuttings, bulbs and seeds to
share with his audience.
The next meeting will be held on
October 10 at the Van Egmond
House, when a speaker from RBG,
Hamilton will be making a presen-
tation on bulbs.
