RETIREMENT HOME
Hello again from Seaforth Manor
Retirement Home. August is
drawing to a close and summer will
soon be ending. This month has
been busy with summer activities.
Our residents, staff and families and
area seniors enjoyed a barbecue and
family fun day. Around thirty-five
showed up for lunch and enjoyed
games and conversation on the lawn
following lunch. Residents also
toured to the Freeze King one after-
noon for ice cream cones.
Movie Night this month featured
'Cocoon, the Return'. All our
residents enjoyed the humours
approach to aging. We also enjoyed
sing -a -longs and church services
with the nursing bonne.
On August 2A, residents juiced on
the lawn for a bstecue of steak,
baked potalocs, corn on the cob,
fresh tomatoes and cherry
cheesecake. James Sampa then
joined us and toured us around, the
grounds explaining the landscaping.
At our residents' monthly meeting
a name for our group of seniors
was voted on. lac winner was
YAH? - The Young at Hart. Any
resident of Seaforth Manor
Retirement Horne is welcome to
