From her new vantage point
above Hart Ford Mercury on High-
way 8, Slender Concept owner and
manager Judy Kuehl can see a lex
factha than she could from her
salon's Maui St. location. And the

"That- s more space, and it's
very quiet," raves Judy, who notes
that her clients are also impressed
with Slander Concept's new

Slender Concept, die Induced
Rhythmic Motion exercise salon,
spent a year and a half at 28 Main
St. before making their move to the
second floor of the Han building
last week. The 'unofficial' opening
was this past Wednesday, July 5,
and an open house might be in the
works in lieu of a grand opening
day.
Judy remarks that the move off of
the Main St. won't deter any cus-
tomers old or new, as most of her
clientele come to Slender Concept
by word of mouth. Walk-in

tising broke the AV for the business,
client testimony and the success of
the 1.R.M. toning method brought

"We've got walking examples out
there," Ms.Kuehl points out.
With 2400 square feet of space at
the disposal, Ms. Kuehl has great
plans for the business and envisions
the day when a spa, whirlpool, gym
area and a small health food saving
arca might be added to the
business. At present, six toning
tables and a tanning bed are in use
by 150 plus clients, who come ink
Slender Concept three to five tunes
a week.
"Tine misconceptions people have
are tremendous, Ms. Kuehl says,
explaining the concept behirill the
business. Induced Rhythmic
Motion, she points out, works at
toning and stretching the muscle
groups under the main muscle
areas, before working on specific
areas of the body. "We start deep

likening the process to building a
house. "You have to start w u,h the
foundation, then build the walls,
and than put on the roof."

Making news in the business beat
lately is Hildebrand's Paint and
Paper, which has completed
renovations in their Main Si score.
The extensive interior renovations
have added approximately one-third
more retail space to the store, and
even more storage room to the back
of the building. With 200 patterns
of wallcoverings on hand and a

ROOM TO GROW - Judy Kuehl of Slender Concept can't believe all the room that the salon has at its
disposal, after their move to the Hart Ford Mercury "penthouse". With 2400 square feet to spare, Slender

Reddi-Chef set to
welcome Seaforth
Seaforth diners will soon have
another choice to turn to when
looking for a place to fill their
faces.
John and Cindy Hunt of Seaforth
have been applying the elbow
grease for the past couple of weeks,
getting their new Reddi-Chef res-
taurant in shape for their grand
opening this on Wednesday. It's
been a lot of hard work on a tight
schedule, but the Hunt's are looking
forward to offering their chicken
and seafood fare to the community.
"It's been a dream for a long
time," John Hunt says proudly.
The new Reddi-Chef restaurant,
one of 22 franchised restaurants
across Canada, will be offering
specials all this week for their
grand opening blitz. Specializing in
chicken, fries and salads, the res-
taurant will also offer fast fare such
as burgers, submarines and fish and
chips. This is the first venture into
the restaurant business for the
Hunts, who also run a janitorial
service in town. Cindy Hunt has
had plenty of exposure to the world
of restaurants through her work as
a waitress over the years, and is
looking forward to taking on the
whole business and offering nothing
but the best to Reddi-Chef's cus-
tomers.
"You kind of get used to working
with the public," she remarks.
Originally from the Mitchell area,
John and Cindy Hunt and their two
children, Becky, 11 and Derek, 9,
have lived in Seaforth for about 14
months now.
Friends and family have been
pitching in at the restaurant on 65
Goderich St., previously the home
of Chipper's Chicken House. The
Hunt's approached the building's
owner when Chipp1/4: c' i lease ex-
pired, and put the wheels in motion
for their Reddi-Chef franchise. The
past two weeks have been a blur,
and major renovations to the res-
taurant have included redecorating
the entire interior, repaving the
parking lot, and getting the kitchen
ready for uusiness, but the doors
are set to swing open today. Along
with lunches and suppers, Reddi-
Chef will also be serving coffee and
doughnuts in the mornings.
The family has also been busy
sprucing up the car wash, directly
beside the Reddi-Chef restaurant,
and Cindy reports that they have
had very good feedback from its
customers so far. Now, car washers
will be able to walk 20 feet to the
Reddi-Chef after they've worked ur
an appetite.
