cated this twenty-five.years ago, but it
was not adopted, and '78 had been behind
in educational matte= all these yeare.
This matter should no; be judged from a
financial basis, but from the higher and
nobler motive of proeiding our young
men1and young wome with advantages
such as are afforded in other places a;
round us. In closing ,e offered a word
as to the efficiepoy of tae school; it must

teachers procurable.
