Saturday last. He wae a native r el
South Moulton, Devonshire, England,
where he was born in 1838. In 1802
he came to Canada and Clinton and
for thirty-five years was 'engaged in
the inanufature of fanning mills
which for a long period Was thelead-
ing helustry of this town. He was
in polities a Liberal and irs religion a
Methodist, a, member of the Ontario
street church of Which he Was a trus-
:tee. He is survived by his wife, One
• daughter, Mrs. R. N. Rowe ot Exet-
er, and two sons, A. .1. of Clinton
