At -high neon last Saturday the
handsome residence of Mr. Farrow
was the scene of much joy and gaiety
when his eldest daughter, hats% Ber-
tha, S., was given in marriage to M.
Richard Wood Reid of New York.
Before the bridal party entered the
drawing room Miss J1cVittie sang the
lovely' solo "0 Fair Sweet and Holy"
after which IVIiss McLaughlin of 13rus-
eels played Meedelssehn's wedding
march while the bride, leaning on her
father's arneenteted the drawitgroorn
followed by the remainder of .,the bri-
dal party, and took her place where
the groom joined her, in the bow
window, Which •had been converted

florist. The bride looked levely
her rich costume of ivory colored taf-
feta, trimmed effectively both waist
