Jennings took place from his reel-
denee 'Rosemount" Farm to Clinton
cemetery under the auspices of Ben -
miller Court, No. 80, C. 0. F., on
Saturday, Feb. lith. The pallbearers
were members of the Court-, but ma-,
ny from Ctoderich. township and Col-
borne' attended the funeral, •Rev. W.
II. Graham officiated at house and
eentetery. The deceased ,geatlentan
was in his 65th year. He was born
•in North Ilevon, England, in 1810
and came .to Canada in 1855, return-
ing again to England be 1857, In 1'R-
00 he married Mary Ann ?rouse,
deughter of Charles Prouse of Wool-
•fardiswor thy, Devonshire, • England,
also a aister of Mr, David Prouse,
Goderich towuship. In 1870 Mr, and
Mts, jenninovsailed for Ontario with
their • four children, settling in Bowe
manville. Six years later they re-
moved to Colborne and after remain-
ing there for four years removed to
their:farm on the Dayfleld Road whe-
re Mr. Jetteings• prospered until ill-
ness 'consequent upon heart failure,
wore so upon his syStent that death
ensuted. Ile was •a prosperous •far-
mer,lit religion a fervent member, et
