Death of a Young Man.
The hand of dealt has brought sorrow
and gloom to the hems of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Thompson, of Wawanosh, tak-
ing away their sin, Richard Thomas
Thompson. The sea event occurred( on
Friday last at Gra ton. North Dakota,
w it er t e young mao bad gone last
September to seek his fortune. From
the particulars to h slid it appears that
Mr. Thompson videsuffering from a
complication of disc Ises; his condition,
however, was not egarded as serious,
and the news of hi: death came as a
shock to the famils and friends. The
remains arrived in 'efingham on the 7.35
train Tuesday event .g, and the funeral
took place from th family residence.
Wawauosh, to the c etery at Donny-
broot, on Wednesd y afternoon. The
deceased was a m ber of Maitland
Lodge, I.O.O.F., Wi gham, and a num-
ber of the brethern a ended the funeral
to pay a tribute of re ea to the mem-
ory of their departe brother, and to
perform the sad rites f the Order at the
burial service. The ceased is survived
by his father, mother and a family of
brothers and sisters, for whom wide-
spread sympathy is e ressed in tbis the
hour of their sore afil tion.
