$672,722. Many wee of the opinion
thattnder the new ssessment Act the

the' assessment is s eral thousand dol-
lars higher. The number of children
between 5 and 16 years is 488, and be -1
tween 5 and 21 years, 646. The total
population is given at 2,216, an increase

The weather is to blame, may
be --in part— not altogether. A
person with pure blood and strong
nerves doesn't bother about heat

weather is alike to him. _
So if you are tired and listless,
have no ambition, are tired with-

that you need a bottle or so of .
Dr. Clarke's Blood Purifier to -

It is an excellent Spring medi-

Wo wish that we might have the pleasure of showing our new Shoes
to every Man and Woman in town.
If we could do this, and have an opportunity to explain all the good
points, wherein our Shoes are so different from the ordinary Shoes, we
would simply get a corner on the Shoe trade. Couldn't help it.
And still we ask no more for our excellent Shoes than some other
stores ask for the other kind.
We are as ready to show our Shoes as we are to sell them,
The new Spring Styles Would be pleased to receive a call from you.
