Carla, time for bed! 1 trudged up the stairs
knowing 1 wouldn't sleep because it was
Christmas Eve. I opened my book. 'looked up
and happened to see a speck of red in the
corner. It was growing. W hen it was fully
grown it turned out to be Santa.He danced
over to the other cdrner, saying

and disappeared. I must have been dreaming
because the next thing I knew my mom was
standing beside my bed trying to wCake e melua

And, then the elves went
1•;INES ON TRIKE
It was only four days before Christmas
when the elves went on strike.
They were on strike because they worked
hard all year and weren't aloud ,to go with
Santa 011 Christmas Eve.
W ith only four days left and only half of the
toys finished Santa knew he had to do
something.
Before they knew It there was only three
days left.
Th, dext day Santa had decided the elves
could comm, The elves were so excited they
1'inislied the rest of the toys that day.
Santa, his elves and the children were all
very happy

I would like to be Santa because Mrs. Claus
would make me Tots of Christmas cookies. I
would have lots of fun slaying up late. I would
supervise the elves and I would have so much
fun, I would play with the toys to test them
oto, I would also help with all the chores.
