Did you ever hear about the trouble Santa had last year? You didn't? Well here goes. Last year about this time Santa had a big problem. All his reindeer were sick with snowyidous. He didn't know what to do so we decided to come to the Seaforth area to get another means of transportation. He brought and here to help him. "Well chief elf," he started, "we need another fast moving vehicle." "W ell why don't we go to the car dealer" I suggested. Santa agreed and went towards the car dealer. But there was no car that would hold all the toys. So we went to a dairy farm near town, Santa then picked out 9 cows to help him with the sleigh but we couldn't get them to fly. W e pulled their tails and yanked their horns to get them to take off but they wouldn't. Later on in the day we went to the local flying service to get a plane. We picked out this red and white crop duster to deliver the presents to the kids. Only one problem we forgot about the gas. John McKercher Grade? Seaforth Public School The witch saves the day It was the day before Christmas. Santa was loading up his sleigh with lots of toys and goodies. The reindeer were in their stalls getting all the rest they possibly could get. The elves were resting too. Mrs. Claus, Santa's wile was baking lots of goodies for Christmas. Then she started preparing a big juicy roast for supper. 13y the time the roast was cooked, Santa was finished loading up his sleigh. Before supper Santa fed his reindeers, carrots. When supper was over Santa picked two elves to help him hook all the reindeer up to the sleigh. Santa said goodbye and good night to his wife and elves and away he went. He glided way, way up into the snbwy chilly air. Then all of a sudden a space ship came along. Its controls were Saallierdu ein ant'sIgh andhis reindeer tangled up. The spacemen asked Santa if he was all right. They told him that they were sorry that they had run into his sleigh. They couldn't get down. Santa's sled was too badly damaged to fly. Then all of a sudden a witch came flying to Santa's sleigh and the spaceship. She had a magic broom. She put a spell on it. Her magic broom became magic brooms, There was a broom for everyone. The witch led Santa and his reindeer and the spacemen to her house, At the witches, the witch fixed Santa's sleigh with her magical powers. Santa and his reindeer thanked the witch, and continued their journey all around the world.
