Mary Isabel Colson, formerly of Hullett
Township, •died. Thursday, ' December 11,
191.16)an her Clinton regidence. She was 69.

Jamieson and the former Lillie Leitch she
married Arthur Colson at the Jamieson home
is 4 utlett Township on July 19, 1939,
Following•their marriage, the Colson farmed
in HullettiTowLTship until 1960 when they sold
the ) .farafi • and .moved to Clinton. Besides
teaching 'kir .18 years in Hullett Township,
M•rs rColson•was a supply teacher in Clinton
for many years.
rShe was a member of the Ontario Street

Irbndtisbouo,W omen's bnstttute.
Besides her husband surviving are one
daughter Nancy (Mrs. William Klomps) of
RR 2, Bayfield and one son Ken of RR 3,
Also surviving are five grandchildren, two
4isters, Hazel (Mrs, Jack Donald) of Gran-
yille, Ohio and Lois (Mrs. William LeSouder)
ofStratford and one brother JamesJamieson

A funeral was held December 13, 1986 at
the Ball and Falconer 'Funeral Home. The
verend David Woodall officiated.
Pallbearers were Jack Bowes, Jake De
ftuyter, Larry Jones, William. Leiper, Tony

A son of the late Joseph Greer and the
former Ann Jane Johnston he is survived by
his wife, the former Florence Pollock.

Friends visited at the Beattie Funeral

W IEDERMAN— VAN MULTENBURG
Rosemarie W iederman and Ben Van M ilten-
burg exchanged vows on Saturday, Novem-
ber 15, 1986 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church,
Dublin. Father J.J. Carrigan officiated. The
bride is the daughter of Anton and Dorothy
W iederman and the groom is the son of Jack
and Elizabeth Van Miltenburg. Maid of honor
was Debbie W iederman, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Heidi Mueller, cousin of
the bride, Linda Van Miltenburg and Corrine
Van M iltenburg, sisters of the groom. Sandra
.uhatschek, friend of the bride, also.
Flowergirl was Sonya Poweska, niece of the
groom. Best man was Ed Van Miltenburg,
brother of the groom. Guests were ushered
by Arnold Van Miltenburg, brother of the
groom, Harold W iederman, brother of the
bride, Earl Ribey, friend of the groom, and
Jed Hendriks, friend of the groom. Ringbear-
er was Christopher Rombouts, nephew of the
groom. Following a reception at the Seaforth
and District Community Centres the couple

Laura Lee Chesney and George Douglas
Collins were married Saturday, December
13, 1986 in the Egmondville United Church
by Rev. Cheryl Ann Stadelbauer-Sampa. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Bill
Chesney of RR 5, Seaforth and the groom is
the son of Elizabeth Collins Foster of RR 4
Clinton and the late Stanley Collins. Maid of
honor was Lauri Habkirk of Seaforth and
bridesmaids were Barb McGregor of RR 2,
Kippen and Mag Devereaux of Toronto. Best
man was Jerry Brand of Calgary, Alberta and
ushers were Bruce Collins of Clinton and
Harold Chesney of Sarnia. Following a
reception at the Seaforth and District
Community Centres the couple took a
wedding trip to Antigua. They now reside at

The Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club held its
euchre party December 16 in the Orange
I tall. There were 10 tables of euchre in play.
High scores were held by Rika Van Baker
and Everett Felkar: consolation going to
Isobel Hunt and Stanley Hillen; lone hands,
.Mary Chapple and Sam McClure; lucky chair,
Mary Riley.
President Mary Finlayson welcomed
everyone present. Respects were shown in
memory of the late Lorne Dale who was a Life
Member of the bowling club.
The next euchre and bridge will be held
January 27, at 8 p.m. in the Orange Hall.
A $1.000 grand prize is being offered in
World of Poetry's new contest, open to all
poets. There are 10o prizes being offered in
all. totalling over $10,000.
