Santa and helpers visit at SH.CF
Christmas time is fast approaching and on
Saturday Santa and his helpers visited the
residents at Seaforth Health Care Facility, He
had an orange for all following the parade,
Also visiting with goodies were characters
from the broomball float namely Big Bird,
I'appa and Baby Smurl', W innie the Pooh,
Cookie Monster and the three Chipmunks,
A Mil. Tbeodore and Simon. Residents really
enjoyed their visit and costutnes,
Thursday morning the ladies baking class
were bus} making Christmas pudding for the
residents' Christmas dinner. This has been a
Christmas project the past lour years, with
delicious pudding the end result and
lavorallly continents from residents and staff.
Monday ulternoon was alley howling and
Tuesday morning junior volunteers assisted
with wheelchair bowling. High bowlers in
this were James Nolan and Wilma Brill.
Attie Sykes was the winner at men's euchre
on 'Thursday afternoon. I'1•icday afternoon
bingo was held with luura Barber in charge.
The i'ilm shown on Tuesday was Christmas
in Germany.
The next euchre with volunteers will be a
1'htislmas euchre on December 18 at.2 p.m.
!glary Nolan has volunteered to bring lunch
:end Margaret Smale will donate prizes.

Mabel Clark and husband visited the
farmers' father Erle Dow.
Visiting with Helen Morris were Joe and
Iorelta Maynagh of Downsview, also her son
and daughter-in=law visited.

Helen and daughter Ellen Murphy,

Raymond Joseph McKinnon, formerly of
Hensel) and Seaforth, died Thursday. De-
cember 4. 1986 at the Blue Water Rest Home
in Zurich. Ile was 75,
There will be no funeral home visitation.
Cremation With committal of ashes in St.
James Raman Catholic Cemetery. Seaforth.
Michael P. O'Connor Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
M ARiON T. SCAFILM
Marion T. Scarlett, formerly of Seaforth,
died Saturday, December 6, 1986 at the
Charlotte Elenore Englehart Hospital in
Petrolia. She was 87.
Miss Scarlett is survived by a sister Grace
Janet Hoggarth of Petrolia and niece Lois and
husband Don Giffin of Sarnia.
A funeral service was held Monday,
December 8, at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral
Home, Seaforth, followed by cremation.
