IRENE BAHNSEN
Irene (Strong) Bahnsen, of London, died'
Friday, November 7, 1986.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann
(Mrs. Bob Britney) of London, and one sister,
Jean (Mrs. Roy Knight)of Toronto, and three
grandchildren, Dawn and Brian of Arizona,
and Samantha, at home, and several nieces
and nephews.
Mrs. Bahnsen was predeceased by her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong of
Egmondville, by two sisters, Pearl and
Margaret, and by one brother John.
Friends were received at the James A.
Harris Funeral Home, London.
'Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
will be appreciated as expressions of
sympathy,

Mr. Kinahan rested Tuesday evening and
Wednesday. Family prayers were recited In
the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
Removal was made Thursday morning to St.
Augustine Roman Catholic Church where
Rev. Frank Dentinger, Rev. Ed Dentinger,
Rev. Stan Soltysik and Rev. Lawrence
Coughlin participated in the concelebration
of mass at 11 o'clock. Special music was
provided by soloists Cyril Boyle and Eugene
' Frayne and organist -guitarist, Marie Boyle-
Asmus.

The North Stars overpowered the Bruins
8.4 on Saturday morning. Jeff Gemmell,
Jason Wheatley and Terry Gray led the
scoring with two goals each. Paul McUwain
and Jamie Wilbee, scored singles. Kevin
Mcllwain retaliated with a double for the
Bruins with Ted Sills and Paul Dolmage
picking up singles.
The Oilers thwarted the Canadians 9-3.
Brad Carter 161, Jason Schoonderwoerd,
Shane Taylor, Brad Schroeder and Jason
Beuttenrruller all scored for the Oilers
assisted by Craig Murray. Canadians Brian
and Sean Cook desperately tried for a win
with goals and assists.
The Leafs snuck by the Flyers 4-3 with
Mike Weber scoring the winning goal late in
the game. Other Leaf scorers were Mike -
Devereaux. Boyd Devereaux and Chris
Marion. Assists went to Brad Moore and Pat
Cook. Flyers Jason Henderson, Derek
Gridzak, Joshua Dietz and Kris Gemmell
tried desperately but to no avail,
The Jets and Penguins tied 3 all. The Jets
took an early lead with Harold HugiU, Pat
Grldzak and Lawrence Flanagan scoring
assisted by Mark Van Dooren but the
Penguins came back late in the game with
Mike Coyne, Ken Hildebrand, and Charles
Robertson picking up singles assisted by Jim
Crowley.
The Whalers overpowered the Flames 5-1
with Kevin Vanden Neuker scoring the lone
goal for the Flames assisted by John Moylan.
Scoring for the Whalers were Tyler Pa ple,
Derek Maloney. Scott Jervis (2), and Joe
Murray. Jeremy Somerville assisted.

Betties counted a hat trick and started the
scoring at the eleven minute mark and added
two more later in the game.
