Canadians outscore Bruins in houseleague hockey
between the Leafs and the Jets but Jason
Murray and Kevin Diegel came through with
goals to break the tie in the Jets favor.
Scoring for the Leafs were Mike Devereaux
and Bruce Griffin. Jet Murray and Wayne
Schoonderwoerd scored for the Jets in the
first period.
The Whalers overpowered the Penguins
with six unanswered goals. Scoring for the
Whalers were Scott Jervis t2 ), Tyler Papple.
Mike Smale and Jeremy Somerville t6).
The Canadians outscored the Bruins 4 to 3.
Aaron Broome assisted by Kevin McLlwain
scored two goals to give the Bruins a
comfortable lead but Sean Cook, Kalen
Carroll and Doug Campbell retaliated with 3
goals to give the Canadians the lead. Bruin
Paul Dotmage scored in the second period but
Jason Papple came back with a tiebreaker for
the Canadians and a win 4 to 3.

Saturday. November 1 saw the first game
of the Seaforth Atom ii team played against
Clinton Atoms. At the end of the first period
Seaforth had held Clinton to a 0-0 score.
Both Seaforth goaltenders were superb in
net. stopping shot after shot from the well
balanced Clinton team. Although the final
score ended 9-0 in Clinton's favor. it certainly
does not indicate how muds effort and spirit
all the Seaforth Atom CI players put Into this
game.
