Soybean advances are available now
Soybean producers can apply for a Soybean
Advance of $130 per tonne. Anyone harvest-
ing soybeans this fall can apply for the
;advance after the harvest is complete.
Soybeans must be sold before August 31,
1087. The maximum amount that an -
individual producer can apply for is $30,000.
For two partners or shareholders, the
maximum is $60,000, Three or more partners
or shareholders is $90,000.
:\pplitation forms will be accepted from
now until December 15, 1986. Application
forms are available from the Ontario
Soyabean Producers Marketing Board 'who
administers the program. Their phone
number in Chatham is 519-352-7730. Appli-
cation forms are also available from the
Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, and Food in
Clinton, 1-800-265-5170 or 482-3428.

DR, PAUL IAWREYBItAI) '
Dr Paul Lawrey Brady, formerly of
Svaforth and Richmond, British Columbia,
died Monday. October 27, 1986 at the
Vancouver General Hospital. He was 73.
Dr. Brady is survived by his wife Helen;
rive sons, Bryan. Rob, Bruce, Stephen and
David' and one daughter Barbara.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
:\ private family service will be held in
Richmond B.('. on October 31. A memorial
service will be held in Seaforth at a later date.
If desired remembrances may he made to
the heart Fund, Northside United Church or
the Seaforth Community Hospital

Rev .John Joseph McIver. SFM died in
Eshowe. South Africa. October 16. 1986. Ile
was 72
Rev John !JackI McIver, formerly of
I Lublin. was the son of the late W illiam and
Catherine McIver.
Ile is survived by sisters, Marion of
Swat lord and Rose of Huntsville and
brothers, Innis of Dublin and Thomas of
Toronto
Ile oar predeceased by brothers Harry and
Joseph and sisters. Rita and Catherine.
1 funeral mass and interment were held in
l'.hune. South Africa on October 24. A
Memorial Mass of the Resurrection was also
sand al the headquarters of the Scarborough
Voretgn Mission Society on October 24.
lindi W ahl graduated from Grade 13 with a
final average of 99.5 per cent, the highest
average at Guelph's Centennial Collegiate
Vocational Institute and among the highest in
Ontario. Miss W ahl received a prestigious
Maynard Kingsmill Walt Memorial scholar-
ship along with fellow student Cindy
Newstead.
Both irndi and Cindy attended the Seaforth
District High School for one semester last
year when high school teachers in W ellington
County went on strike.
The Oddfellows and Rebekahs held their
firs( euchre of the season. The winners being:
ladies high, Mrs. Stanley Hillen; ladies low,
Glen Staffcn. playing as a lady; ladies lone
hands. Mary Riley; men's high, Stanley
Millen. men's low, Rachel Riehl, playing as a
man and men's lone hands, Peter Malcolm.
The next euchre will be held November 26.

Sunday. October26, 1986 at the Villa Nursing
Home in Exeter. She was 95.
The former Isabella Monk she was the wife
d Iho late David Papple.

daughters. Mary (Mrs. Wallace Pringle) of
Brantford. Annie (Mrs. Scott Kerr) of
Dorchester. Myrtle (Mrs. Elmer Scott of

Mc•Kilinp Township and Edna (Mrs Doug
Stinson ) of lnnden.
Also surviving are 31 grandchildren, 44
great grandchildren and six great -great
grandchildren

Robert and Earl. one daughter. Ella West and
one Nuttier Percy Monk.
The family received friends and the
W hilney-Hibey Funeral Home and a funeral
service was held Tuesday. Interment Bairtl's
Cemetery, Stanley Township.

married Friday, August 2, 1086 at the Exeter
Pentecostal Tabernacle by Pastor. Donnan.
The bride is the daughter of Donna Irvine of
Exeter and Art Clark of Clinton and the
groom is the sori of Eared and Etta Buchanan
of Kinbum. Maid of honour was Betty
Buchanan of Kinbum and bridesmaids were
Dime Clark of Quebec, Louise Jones of
itensall and Rose Landsdowne of Iuindon.
Rest man was Howard Jones of Hensall and
guests were ushered_ by John Scott of
Seaforth,1311 Shipp of Clinton and Rob Spier
of Brvicefield. The Couple now reside in
Kinhurh.

James Rogan were married Saturday, August
30. 1986 at the home of the bride's parents by
Reverend William Barber. Maid of honour
was. DebbySomervilte, sister of the bride and
bridesmaids were Tracy McPherson, sister of
the bride, Cathy Cooper, aunt of the bride,
Rachel Bettye. sister of the groom, Danielle
Pineau. friend of the bride and Jamie
Somerville. niece of the bride. Best roan was
Garry Manning, friend of the groom and
guests were ushered by Jeff McPherson,
brother of the bride, Greg McPherson,
brotherof the bride, Dean ifa(kwell, friend of
the groom and Jeremy Somerville, nephew of
the bride. The bride's wedding train was
carried by Michael and Alysha Courtney,
nephew and niece of the groom. Derek Cook,
nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer
while Alysha Somerville, niece of the bride
was.flowergirl. Music for the ceremony was
carried out by John Battye, brother of the
groom, who also accompanied the groom in
singing Jim Croces 'Time in a Bottle",
during the signing of the register. After
