A goal by centreman Mike Flanagan in the second half of the game narrowed the gap somewhat, but despite repeated opportuni- ties pportuneties to score, the C.H. shots failed to enter the net and the team lost a tough 2-1 decision to Tend -R -Flesh of Palmerston. 'fend -R -Flesh was the team responsible for defeating the C.H Forprecu in the CW(1RA finals last spring. Leading up to the final game C. H. recorded four victories. The score was 2-0 in Clinton's favor. Try as they might Seaforth could not put the puck in the Clinton net. It was definitely not because of lack of effort. A good team effort was put forth by the whole team. The edge lost by season opener nerves did not dampen the spirit or hard working effort put out by the whole team.
