Born in McKillop Township he was a son of the late W illiam Flanagan and the former Catherine Burns. Surviving are two brothers, W illiam and Lorne, both of McKillop Township and three sisters, Helen Krauskopf, Bernice Looby and Margaret Lobby, all of Dublin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the W hitney- Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth. Mass of the Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Dublin. Burial was in the church cemetery. Parish prayers were said at the funeral home. ('ATHMINE INEZ CAMERON Catherine Inez Cameron (nee McNichol), of Brussels, formerly of Seaforth, de October 13, at the Callander Nursing Home, at the age of 85 years. Mrs. Cameron was predeceased by her husband, Wilford A. Cameron, who died in 1959 and one son, James, who died in 1973. She is survived by one grandson, David, of Toronto and a granddaughter, Brenda, of London. After resting at the Brussels Chapel of M.L. Watts Funeral Home, a service was held oe' October 16 with the Reverend Vic Jamieson officiating. Mrs. Cameron was buried in Brussels cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Tyerman, Lawrence Mprphy, Bob Tyerman, Merle and Jim Walker and Dave McCutcheon. W1 drew quilt winner The Seaforth Women's institute met on Tuesday, October 14 at the Anglican Church Hall as guests of the Seaforth Hospital Auxiliary. The lucky winner of the quilt was Graham Kerr and the winner of the 525.00 grocery voucher was Mrs, Helen Mc.Kaig. Malindima and his mother Cheryl -Ann, proudly announce the graduation of his father, Chibuta James Sampa, B.A, Ed., from the University of Guelph with his Master of Landscape Architecture on October 3, 1986. Mr. Sampa has accepted a position as Lecturer with the University of Zambia. Youth worker addresses Egmondville UCW The Egmondville UCW met on October 6 with President Doris Carnochan presiding. W anda Dietz conducted the worship and introduced the guest speaker Don Keillor, Director of Huron -Perth Centres for Children, and Youth, Clinton. Don described how the centre works in offering help to families, in total about 600 in one year for Humn-Perth BUSINESS DIRECTORY area. He said most were ordinary children who can't cope with authority, often the family system breaks down, and changes are disturbing. One -parent families make up 40 per cent with children ranging from 1 to 18 years. The centre offers family counselling and is open to everyone. Mr. Keillor related how they handled specific problems, and answered, questions. He was thanked by Wanda.
