Edith Dunlop was in the chair and opened the meeting with a poem, During A .brief business period members were reminded the Fall Rally is to be held in Dungannon on October 16. Registration will lake place from noon until 1 p.m. There will be a fun time including euchre, cribbage, darts, 500 and bridge and everyone is welcome. Euchre winners from this week were: ladies high, Marg Lane: ladies low,' Dorothy Townsend: ladies lone hands, Ruth Thor- Iturn: men's high, Annie Staffen (as a man); men's low, Marg Bennett las a man); and men's lone hands, Mrs. Maloney (as a man). BIRTHS Speaker mentions building campaign Clare Reith was guest speaker at a meeting of the Ladies Aid of Seaforth's First Presbyterian Church. Mr, Reith spoke on Craefhills, the Presbyterian retreat, and mentioned the building fund campaign the retreat hopes to complete by 1988. The business portion of the meeting was conducted by Viola, and the president welcomed the members and read a poem on Autumn. London. formerly of Seaforth, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Born in Tuckersmith Township, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Wright and the former Lily Henderson. Surviving are her husband, William Lcyhurn; three brothers. Alan, of London, Morley, of Stoney Creek, and Gordon, of Seaforth: and one sister. Mrs. Robert (Alice) Tyndall. of Seaforth. She was predeceased by one brother. Arthur. He was 69. A farmer in Bayfield, he was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Fathertoderich arid a member of Stephen Eckert Council Knights ofColumbusNo. 5289, Seaforth. He was born in Bayfield on August 5, 1917 to Valentine Wild and the former Agnes O'Sullivan, both deceased. His wife is the former Pheobe Anne Bedard. Also surviving are sons Joseph of Bayfield, Peter and his wife Wendy of Bayfield, and Patrick of London. Also, daughters Rosemary and husband Don Cor- riveau of Goderich, Barbara Dessjardiret of Goderich and Theresa Wild of London. He has two brothers, Joseph and Louis Wild both of Clinton and one sister, Very '(Mrs. Oscar Priestap) of Clinton. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Etuei Also surviving are his grandchildren, Sheila and Bryan Corriveau, Paula, Richard and Michael Dosiardins,. Funeral Mass was held at St. Peter's Ronan Catholic Church, Goderichi on Wednesday, October 8, with Rev. Joseph Hardy officiating.
