their first "Milk Makes It" meeting..
Officers are as follow: President, Joan

Treasurer, Mary Hunt; Secretary, fleeting
and press reporters are Renee'Thnrnpson and
Andrea Ribey. At the first meeting members
made Mexican Salad and Nacho Chips.

LAUZON— THOMPSON
Michelle Maureen Lauzon, daughter of Ron
Lauzon and the late Charlotte Lauzon,
Stratford and Robert John Thompson, son of
John and Carolyn Thompson, Seaforth, were
mamed in the Shakespearean Gardens,
Stratford, on Saturday, August 30. Mr. Delf
M. Hohmann, of Newfoundland, friend of the
bride sang and accompanied himself on the
guitar. Reverend Joseph Fellows, of Guelph
performed the ceremony. The maid of honor
was Miss Pia Marcussen, of Stratford and the
matron of honor was Mrs. Laurie Roberts, of
Ottawa, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids,
were Mrs. Sharoh Nesbitt and Mrs. Sheila
Thompson, sister-in-law of the groom. Best
man was Mr. Mitchell Lauzon. Ushers were
Mr. Jim Thompson, brother of the groom and
Mr. Mark Underwood, friend of the groom.
Aftera honeymoon in Prince Edward island,
the couple are residing in Stratford.

Debra Leona Mae Doig and Richard Douglas
Letton Were married Saturday, September
20, 1986 at Egmondville United, Church by,
the Reverend Cheryl Ann •Stadelhauer-
Sampa. The bride is the daughter of Bob and
Elsie Doig of Egmondville and the gloom Vis'
the son of Charles and Lorraine Letton of
London. Matron of honor was Barb Caldwell
of Seaforth and bridesmaids were Cathy
Landry of Yellowknife, NWT, Sharon.Eby of
Anton Mills and Lisa Bulloch of Helfountain.
Best man was Steve Chambersof Simcoe and
guests were ushered by Doh Letton of
London, Bob Lefton of London add Cary Doig
of Seaforth. Following a reception at the
Seaforth Golf and Country Club the couple
left on a wedding trip to the Thousand
islands. They will reside at St, Thomas.

W ILLEMS— KLAVER
Caroline Marie Louise W illems and John
Paul Joseph Klaver were married Saturday,
August 2, 1986 at St. James Roman Catholic
Church by Monsignor C. Adams. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. PeterWillems
of Seaforth and the groom is the son of John
and Gertrude Klaverof Exeter. Maid of honor
was Marilyn W illems and bridesmaids were
Gale Turnbull and Janet VandenHoven. Best
man was Pete Klaver and ushers were Nick
Klaver and Michael Van Sloun. A reception
was held at the Seaforth Legion Hall.
Following a wedding trip to Ottawa the
couple have taken up residence at RR 3,
Klppen.
OBITUARIES
Seniors view
A heartrending and educational V.C.R.
film was shown to residents at Seaforth
Health Care Facility on Tuesday. The story
centered around the life of Corrie Ten Boon,
her sister, and her father and their struggle to
aid the Jewish families during the war.
Special thanks to Rev. A. Robertson for the
loan of the film.
Wednesday Communion Service with
Rev. James Vanslyke of Northside United
Church was held.
Thursday, residents and volunteer ladies
held their first euchre of the fall season. Five
tables were in play and winners were: high
lady, Gladys Ruston; high man, Patrick Ryan,
lone hands, Elmer Bakcsy and consolation
prizes went to Doris Smith and Ed Dunn.
Residents welcomed Mrs. Margaret Lane
as a new volunteer. Next euchre is scheduled
for October 9..at 2 p.m.
Friday was bingo'dayin the afternoon and

Listowel by..the Reverend John Anderson,
The bride is the daughter of James and Idella
Johnston of Listowel and the groom is. the son
of George and Hazel. Hildebrand of Seaforth.
Maid of honor was Carol Ann. Johnston of
W illowdale and bridesmaids ( were Joan
Wood of; Seaforth and Susan Carter of
W illowdale: Junior bridesmaid was Jill Wood
of. 'Seaforth and flowergirl was Angie
Hildebrand, also of Seaforth. Best man was
• Doug Hildebrand of Seaforth and guests were
ushered by Paul Johnston of Woodstock and
Rick Wood of Seaforth. Junior usher was
Scott Wood of Seaforth. Ringbearer was
Dean Wood. Following a reception at Elma
Memorial Community Centre, Atwood the
couple left on a honeymoon trip to Madeira.
They will ,reside on John Street in Seaforth.

CAROLYN ANN WILSON, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ewart Wilson, Seaforth received
her Bachelor of Education degree from
Althouse College, University of Western
Ontario with specialization in English. She
attained academic recognition on the Dean's
Honors List. She is presently employed by the
Huron -Perth Separate School Board and has
accepted a position at St. Michael Secondary
School, Stratford,

Hospital.

Visiting with Bill Scott were his brother
Ross, of Brucefield and sisters Misses Ina
and Ellen Scott. of London.
Leo Sullivan was out I'or lunch on Sunday

Helen Morris was visited by son Bill and
daughter-in-law Janice and also went out
with them. -
Visiting with Dave and Eva Netzke were
Roy and Vera Netzke. of Lyn, Ontario
(Brockville).
Cathie and Glen Weber and two great

Kelso (Ken) Thompson Adams, formerly of
Clinton. died Tuesday. August 19. 1986 at the
Princess Elizabeth Hospital. He was 66.
Mr. Adams served his country for 18 years
in the RCAF. both in war and peace time. He
saw active service overseas for three and one
hall years with the 427 Bomber Squadron.
After his release from the air force he was
employed by Bristol Aerospace Ltd. in
Winnipeg until his early retirement in 1980.
Ile is survived by his wife 011ie: sons,
Gerald and wife Diane. Michael and
girlfriend Betty Jean. and stepsons and their
wives. Gary and Pat. Dan and Bev. Dale and
Louis Kozun
Also surviving are grandchildren Neil.
Cameron, Michelle and -Tim
Mr. Adams was predeceased by his father
Ernest in 1971. mother Margaret in 1972 and
sister Donalda in 1980.
A memorial service was held August 26 at
Leatherdale GardinerSt. James Chapel, with
the Reverend John Howson officiating. Ash
interment in his birthplace of Clinton.

FEOPLE
Local gardening buff Art Wright visited
The Expositoroffice last week with the sequel
to the three -and -one -half -Mound potato which
he grew last year. Mr. Wright said he planted
the eyes from the massive spud this year, and
they produced a combined yield of 14 pounds
of new potatoes. Mr. Wight is certainly
getting good mileage out of his prize potato.
