Before darkness fell members toured the herb garden with Mrs. McAllister as their guide and were able to sample and learn the many uses of the herbs. Mrs. McAllister was thanked by Mona Alderdice and presented with a gift of appreciation. Helen MacLean read a poem and a moment of silence followed in memory of the late Grace Pepper.
