JORDAN — W OLTERS
Marion Jordan and Christopher Wolters were
married Saturday, September 13, 1986 at St.
Columban Roman Catholic Church by Father
Andrew Sipek. The bride is the daughter of
Bernadette Jordan of Mitchell and the late
Peter Jordan. The groom is the son of Fred
and Christa Wolters of Thornton. Matron of
honor was Diane Peckitt of Seaforth, friend of
the bride and bridesmaids were Joanne
Bennewies of Port Elgin, and Pauline Jordan
of Kitchener, both sisters of the bride. Best
man was Harold Wolters of Alliston, brother
of the groom and ushers were Don Roberts
and Keith Thomas, both of Cookstown, and
both friends of the groom. A reception was
held at the Seaforth Legion. The couple will

Heenan. Following a reception at the Knights
of Columbus Hall in Stratford, the couple
honeymooned in Europe. They now reside in
Stratford, Guests attended from Toronto,
Huntsville, Kingston, Stratford, ' Dublin,
Holland and the,Caribbean. ,
Residents visit Western Fair
On Monday and Thursday Seaforth Health
Care Facility residents travelled to London's
Western Fair. All had a good time playing
games.
On Tuesday morning a resident's council
meeting was held. It was nice to have the Arc
Industries workers home on their holidays. A
barbecue was held at noon and films were
shown in the afternoon.
On Wednesday the Reverend Barber held a
worship service. His wife and daughter
helped residents with singing.
On Friday afternoon Father Caruana held
mass for the residents of his parish.
PERSONALS
Mrs. Bob Nigh and daughters and Bill
Morris and his wife visited Helen Morris.
Barb Alexander visited Cassie Nicholson.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jefferson, Carol
Contin of Orangeville, Mrs. W ayne Contin
and Mrs. W illiam Pegg of Port Stanley visited
with Eva Lambert and took her out for lunch
to celebrate her birthday.
Maxine Elliott went to W Ingham and
visited ter sister Louise and brother Gary for

THOMAS T. B1ACOW
Thomas T. Blacow of Thamesford and
formerly of Main Street, Seaforth died
Sunday. September 14. 1986 at University
Hospital in London. He was 78.
Mr, Blaa►w was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion Brandi 156 of Seaforth and
is survived by a sister. Rhoda Tomlinson, of
London. and friends George and Marilyn
Brown and family of Thamesford.
Mends may call at the Carruthers -Selmer
tlmeral Horne. 177 Dundas Street, Thames -
ford, one hour prior to the funeral service
which will be held on Thursday. September
18 at 1 p.m. interment of cremated remains to

Erle Dow was out with his daughter for the
day.
Mabel Handy had her husband and cousin
in to visit.
Dave Netzke has returned home from
hospital and Rose and Pat Altman were in to
visit her parents Dave and Eva Netzke.
Mary Nolan was in to visit Jim Nolan,
Keith Herman has returned from Stratford
Hospital.
Sid Pearson has gone to Riverside Nursing
Home to stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Zack Ryan were in to visit
cousin Mary Ryan.

Iridologist and therapist was guest Speaker
when the Seaforth Women's Institute met
recently at the home of Mrs. Jim Keys.
Mrs. Klaus demonstrated her treatments
and talked about her work.

ADVANCED CROCHETING — Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00
p.m. for ten weeks held at the residence of Bessie Broome, Main St.
S., starting October 7. Registration fee will be $25.00.
FURNITURE REFINISHING — Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30
p.m. for tem weeks held at the High School starting October\ 6.
Registration fee Is $25.00 and the instructor is Harvey Beuerman.
MIXED ADULT VOLLEYBALL — Wednesday evenings from 8:00
to 10:00 p.m. for twenty weeks held at the High School starting
