Registra- tion fee will be $25. This course will allow all crocheters to go one step further and learn more patterns and ideas, , FURNITURE REFINISHING will be held at the High School on Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to9:30 p.m. for 10 weeks beginning October 6. Registration fee is $25. and the instructor will be Harvey Beuerman. The course allows the student to work on their own piece of furniture, with the instructor's help and guidance. MIXED ADULT VOLLEYBALL will be held at the High School on Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m. for 20 weeks (10 before and 10 after Christmas) beginning October 15. Registra- tion fee is $30 and the instructor is Terri Dale. ' RECREATION PREVIEW This is a fun, recreational night out you can enjoy. OLD TIME DANCE will be held at the Arena on Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for 10 weeks beginning October 9. Registration fee will be $20,00 per person and your instructors will be Mr. and Mrs. Lou Morrello. TYPING will be held at the High School on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. for 10 weeks beginning October 9. Registration fee will be $25, and your instructor is Diane Stevenson. Other programs to watch for will be badminton, calligraphy, puppet workshop 1 and ceramics. You can register for all Recreation Department programs on Inform- ation -Registration Nights Wednesday, Sep- tember 24 and Thursday, September 25 from 7 to 9 p.nn. both nights at the Arena. CITIZENSHIP AWARDS. The Seaforth Recreation Committee will be presenting three annual recognition awards to citizens who serve the community ip the following categories: a) service to sports, .b) civic service, c) humanitarian service. These awards will be Chosen based on the individuals' contribution to the community in a volunteer capacity. Anyone may nominate an individual for any category by submitting a written nomination stating some background and reasons for their choice to the. committee, NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1986. TO ALL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. If you would like to polish your fundraising or leadership and organizational skills, then the Lake Huron Zone Recreationists Association has the workshop for you. "The Important Business of Running Your Non -Profit Organ- ization." The workshop is aimed at volun- teers working as executive members in non-profit groups and participants range from sports organizations and arts groups, to service clubs and fraternities. The Volunteer Workshop will be held at Walkerton District Secondary School on .Saturday, September 27, 1986. Cost per person is $25 and lunch is included in this price. .
