TWO TiME WINNERS — The Seaforth Squirt. travelling soccer team not only finished as
Huron Minor Soccer Association league champions but playoff champions as well.

defeating the Red team 2-1 In the playoff Wednesday night at Optimist Park. The game,
was tied o-0 after regulation time and had to be decided by penalty kicks. Members of the
team were presented with their trophy by Peter Ste. Marie. They were; Otitis Mitten,
Robbie VandenHengel, Scott Wood, Steven Mainelty, Stephen VandenHenget, Debbie

win soccer title
The Seafortb Shamrodi women's soccer
team are the 2nd Division Cup Champions.
The Shamrocks captured the sip by
defeating the Del -Ron Renegades by a score
of 1-0. Mamie Scherbarth scored in the first
half of that game, which proved to be the
winning goal.
The Shamrocks advanced to the sup finals
by defeating London City and the Landon
United Team.
The following Monday, London City
defeated Seaforth by a margin of 3-1 in a
closely fought game. The Seaforth women
finished theft. trrg pixy with a 6-0 bietoty
over London United, The team ended up with
a record of six wins, four ties, four Ingres.
Seaforth Shama have been affiliated
with the London and Area Women's Soccer
League for 10 seasotis. They were finalists in
the second division cup in the 1583 and 1984
seasons. The Seaforth ladies soccer team
