It seems that we are into the August lull
that occurs every summer on the golf course.
The hot summer afternoons. are more suited
to relaxing by the pool and with the days
getting shorter golfers have to rush out after
supper to get their game in. Many people are
on vacation or entertaining visitors, so golf
sometimes has to be put on the back burner.
August, September„ and into October are
perfect months for golfing. Even if you've
given up on your aspirations on becoming a
pro. or beating last year's best, there's still
plenty of golfing time ahead. Now's the time
to get out and enjoy the early mornings and
evenings. The country air and peaceful
scenery are very relaxing even if your level of
skill is sometimes frustrating. There are still
plenty of tourneys on the agenda for men.
