QueensHotel played Louis McNichol at the
Optimist Park. McNichol came away With
both victories. The first game was . close
16-14, and the second was equally close
' 12-11. It should be noted that McNichol went
. into the last inning losing 11.6 and came
ahead in their lastt bat to, steal the season
championship away from the Queens.

Seaforth Mosquitos soccer team. In the first
half an early goal by Kincardine seemed to
throw Seaforth into disarray. Defensive
lapses and spstained pressure by Kincardine
kept most of the play in the Seaforth end.
Only good Work in goal by David Soontiens
kept Kincardine from running up a larger
lead and die half ended with the opposition
up 4 to 0.`

managed only one goal in the second half.

Seaforth Squirt Girls baseball team won
the Tri -County "B" division championship
after defeating the Belgrave team 27-6 last
Sunday in W Ingham.
The Seaforth girls were undefeated in the
tournament by winning 17-6 over Winthrop'
38-3 over Listowel 1, and 21-10 over listowei
