Descendants reunite
Descendants of the late Thomas and
Gertrude Williamson gathered at the home of
George and Florence Nesbitt in Clinton on
July 13 for their annual reunion.
Forty-two people enjoyed various sports
conducted by Linda Trentleman, Brenda
Kitching and Connie Nesbitt. Winners were:
races, Becky Jervis, Laura McGrath, Lee
Nesbitt, Craig Jervis, Angie Jervis, Andrea
McGrath, Tim Kitching, Cathy Nesbitt, Jeff
Nesbitt and Scott Kitching.
Shoe scramble winners were Becky Jervis,
Laura McGrath, Lee Nesbitt, Cathy Nesbitt,
Carla Kitching, Tim Kitching, Angie Jervis,
Andrea McGrath and Julie, Smith.
Albert Hutton was the man having the
most $2 bills while the lady with the most
dimes was Olda Jervis. Jeff Nesbitt and Scott
Kitching won the water balloon toss and the
scavenger hunt was won by Angie Jervis,
Andrea McGrath, Laura McGrath, Jeff
Nesbitt, Tim Kitching, Becky Jervis and
Glanville reunion
The 34th annual Glanville reunion was held
at Seaforth Icons Park over the weekend, with
approximately 105 in attendance.
The day started off with a ball game
followed by a smorgasbord supper. Grace
was said by Richard Horst.
The secretary this year was Lorna Fink-
beiner and Roy Glanville acted as president.
Leona Bissonnette took over as secretary for
198647. President for 1987 will be Gordon
' Miller; vice president, Lome Glanville;
secretary -treasurer, Mable Glanville and
sports Betty Glanville.,
The Youngest baby boy at the reunion was
Danny Shapton, four months, and the
youngest baby girl was Dianne Shapton, 20
months. W alter Riddle and Suzanne Fhnk-
beiner tied on the watermelon weight guess.
Christian Goodall and Jenna Barnes were
closest guess to the 51 nuts in a jar.

Craig Jervis. George Nesbitt was the wjnner
for hitting the nail in the furthest, while
Mona Hutton sewed a button on the fastest.
The highlight of the day was a contest
where baby pictures of the great grandchild-
ren of Thomas and Gertrude W illiamson were
displayed and the names had to be matched
to the appropriate picture. The eventual
winner was Ina McGrath.
A barbecue was held followed by a short
business meeting. The 1987 executive is Past
President, Maurice Nesbitt, President, Ken
W illiamson, Vice. President, Larry McGrath
Secretary, Kathy Nesbitt, Treasurer, Russell
Jervis and sports committee, Sharon Mc-
Grath, Dianne McGrath and Julie Smith.
The 1987 reunion will be held at Murray
and Connie Nesbitt's in Auburn the second
Sunday in July.
The new baby presented with a silver dollar
was Matthew McGrath, son of Jim and
Sharon McGrath.

arrangement donated by Hildebrand Flow-
ers.
The tournament was very successful and
all donors and helpers are thanked for their
contribution.
Although the ladies invitation was the
mak 1r event of the week, many other golf
events also took place.
The 1986 Men's Crown Life team was
established. This year's team will consist of
1st flight champion Cam Doig, 2nd flight
diauhpion, Cam Holland, and 3rd flight
champion Phil Hoggarth, Flitter Rod or Lan
Doigwill be the accatepanying pm. The team
