BHCF residents enjoy picnic trip
Residents of Seaforth Health Care Facility
went on a bus trip to Goderich Tuesday. It
was a beautiful day and residents enjoyed a
picnic lunch.
On Wednesday two films were shown and
on Thursday a few games of euchre were
played. On Friday, Liz Brown brought a treat
of little donuts for the residents and a few
games of bingo were played.
PERSONALS
Allan Nicholson visited his mother Cassie
Nicholson and several other residents enjoy-
ed chatting with him.
Ross Scott of Brucefield visited his brother
Bill Scott.
Randy Alexander visited his grandmother
Cassie Nicholson.
Frank Maloney of Stratford visited his
brother Harold Maloney.
Barb Alexander took her mother Cassie
Nicholson out for the day shopping and Beryl
Nicholson also visited.
Wilfred Bezzo visited his mother Lucy
Bezzo.
Josie Nigh visited her mother Helen
Morris.
Kathleen Hernackie and boys of Bayfield
came and took her brother Pat Ryan out for
brunch.
Laverne Nigh took grandmother Lucy
Bezzo out to a 40th Wedding Anniversary
party for Bill and Doris Bezzo of Sebringville
Sunday afternoon.
Jack Nicholson came and took his mother
Cassie Nicholson down to Preston for the
weekend to attend his son Tom's wedding.
Cassie spent the night with granddaughter Happy Birthday to Marlene Charters on
Gail: July 21,
Eva and Dave Netzke were out for the
afternoon with Rose and Pat Altman and had
supper at their place,
Ann Downey, a volunteer, took Pat Ryan,
Gladys Ruston and Sid Pearson to Mitchell to
visit friends.

Peter Van Drunen, RR 5 Seaforth graduated
from Conestoga College, Kitchener in
Mechanical Technical Engineering. He has
accepted a position with Hoover Universal in
Tillsonburg as a line technician.

say she wasn't a curling rock, tennis ball,
hockey puck, or golf ball. She is Paula Jane
and weighed 71b. 10 oz. Proud grandparents
are George and Ruth Ribey, Drusilla and

Wiggins.
TURNER: Jeff and June are pleased to

Mary Joy, July 8, 1986 in Calgary,

announce the safe arrival of their first child ,
Emily Marie, weighing 8 lbs. 13 oz., on July
12, at St. Joseph's Hospital in London. Proud

The 61st annual reunion of the Hodgert
Clan was held Saturday, July 12, 1986 at the
Crystal Palace in Mitchell with 86 registering
throughout the day.
The oldest person present was Mrs.
Whitney Coates of Dieter and the youngest
member present was five -month-old James
Smith of Sarnia.
During the afternoon a full sports program
was enjoyed by everyone.
President Ross Hodgert welcomed every-
one noting

Rally for wildlife
On Saturday. August 2, 1986, the Ontario
Humane Society will be hosting a public rally
al Nathan Phillips Square to celebrate
W fdlfe Protection Day.
An integral part of the day's events will
focus on raising public awareness to the pain
and suffering inflicted on millions of wild
animals trapped by the fur industry.
The Ontario Humane Society is of the
opinion that after fifty years of searching for a
humane trap. there is no humane trap and
there never will be. The Anti -M. campaign
hopes to educate the consumer to the cruelty
that exit#s Merely for fashion and vanity. Torn
fRughes, President of the Ontario Humane
Society. says "We are totally committed to
seeing an end to the needless torture these
animals endure. We want the public to say
"NO" to fur."
The rally will include guest speakers,
literature, demonstrations and entertain-
ment.

As everyone knows Junior Farmers is an
organization which provides a number of
travel opportunities for those deserving
Members.
Tom Stevenson was one of these deserving
Members, although he is not from Ontario,

Tom is travelling through Canada this
yeaiHuron County hosted him from Jane 16
to22. During his stay he stayed with Neil and

Tom is'26 years -old and is from Victoria
State, one of the seven States of Ansiraila. lie

tion is very similar to the Junior Farmer
Association. Their oiganitation's structure
