SDI -IS honor banquet held Top academic achievers at Seaforth Dis- trict High School were celebrated at the school's annual Honors Banquet, held in the, SDHS auditorium on June 25. Students posting marks in the honors. range were recognized at this time. To achieve honors marks in Grades 9 and 10, a student must record an average of 75 per cent on eight credits. For Grades 11, 12 and 13, the criterium is 75 per cent on seven credits. Students who achieve a mark of 80 per cent on any 6 Grade 13 credits are nominated as Ontario Scholars. These nominations are sent to the Ministry of Education for formal approval and Ontario Scholarships are formally awarded in the fall.
