Moorefield and received second place in the
"A" division, taking home the Silver
Medalion.

Ruth Thamer to Stouffville where they spent
a few days over July 1 with Margaret Michell.
Terry Thompson was holidaying for a few
days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Don Kuntz
and family at Holyrood.
Mr, and Mrs. Neil McGavin have returned
from a holiday in Denmark and Norway.
Viola Kirkby has returned from a tour of
Alaska and the Yukon. She also visited Expo.
She was accompanied by Jean Bewley,
Eluned McNair and Jean Ireland of Brussels.

The Sunday morning service at Duff's
United was conducted by Rev, Bonnie
lamble. Ken and Leona McDonald greeted
the congregation. Marion Godkiu was the
organist and ushers were Graeme Craig and

young people on Saturday, July 5 for the
United Church Youth clubs ball tournament.

Eighty-five youth club members from
United Churches in Clinton, Londesborough,
Blyth, Auburn, Dungannon and Belgrave
took part in the event. The umpires and
score -keepers for the day were Murray Shiell,
Paul McKee, Lloyd Michie, Harvey Black,
William Coultes, Glenn Coultes and Bryan
Coultes.
Followings the end of play, everyone was
entertained to an excellent meal provided by
members of the Belgrave Youth Club and
their parents. Afterwards, Most Valuable
Player medallions were presented to a boy
and girl in each participating team. The
Consolation Trophy was won by the team
from Wesley -Willis, Clinton and the Cham-
pionship Trophy by Dungannon Union Youth
Club. After the presentations, Mr. Roberta
thanked all the members of the Pastoral
Charge who had given such excellent support
and helped to make the day successful,

The 62nd Higgins Clan reunion was held
June 22 at the Women's Institute Hall in
Belgrave with 66 signing the register.
