Mary Elliott presided, Faith of our Fathers was sung followed by the scripture and meditation on the roll of fathers in the Christian education of the family,, taken by Ruth Laing. Hazel Harburn gave a humorous reading. ' Ten members answered the roll call. The Presbyterial bus trip to Camp Kintail, the Saugeen Indian Band at Chippawa Hills and Huron Feathers at Sauble Beach on June 25 were announced. Anyone wishing to go should contact a Marian Ritchie member before their next meeting on June 10. New golfers out of baking and crafts held O'Connor, Cromarty. Following the dinner they returned to Gail's home for cake and ice cream. Sandra Orr, Barrie, visited recently with her mother, Eve Chabassol. Mrs. Chabassol returned home last week after holidaying with her sister-in-law in Florida and her daughter Sandra, in Barrie. Lillian Douglas visited last week with her friend, Katherine Ross and attended the Oxford South Women's Institute District Annual at Tillsonburg. Jeff and Margaret Allen, Guelph, visited Sunday with her parents, Bob and Ruth Laing, and Tom. Congratulations to Jack and Betty Anne (Miller) Christie who were married in Cromarty Church on Saturday. Many from here were guests at the wedding and reception which was held in Kirkton-Wood- ham Community Centre. Mrs. Elliott conducted a contest, Pun Country. The flowers in church on Sunday were in memory of the lar Jean Miller, whose funeral was held in Mitchell on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Miller, when she was able, was very active in the Women's Missionary Society, Ladies Aid and the choir. Sympathy is extended to her son, Uoyd; his wife, Doris and their family. Church services od May 18 and 25 have been cancelled so members can attend Hensall and Staffa anniversary services.
