A formula based on the taxable assessment
plus the assessment of any property for which

Other by-laws passed by council include a
by-law to establish a Fire Department and a
by-law to appoint George Garrick as the Chief
of the Seaforth Fire Area for the area
descr he3 above.
Also passed was a by-law to provide for the
participation of the Seaforth Fire Area
Department in the County Mutual Fire Aid.
That by-law gives the Seaforth Fire Area
Department authorization to leave the limits
of the municipality or fire area,
discretion of the Chief and under the
direction of the Huron County Fire Co-ordina-
tor, to respond ti. calls for assistance from
other Intrnicipal fire departments authorized
to participate in the Huron County Mutual
Fire Aid System or any other Regional,
District, or CountyMutual Fire Aid systenion
a reciprocal basis.
