interesting experience when she found a
balloon the wind had carried over from
Michigan. In the balloon was a note which

participating in the weekly Reader Writing
Pals balloon contest. Please put this message
into an envelope along with your name,
address and telephone number, and city and
state in which you found this message. Mail it
to me at the above address. Tell your local
paper that you heard from me. If you write to
me, I'll write back." The balloon was sent up
from Sdtall Elementary School, 325 East
Frank Street, Caro, Michigan, on March 17,
1986.
