Mr, Flanagan is survived by his wife Mary Fianab.,n (formerly Miller), his son John L, of Calgari; daughters. Mary Ellen Burgess and her husband David, of Comintern, B.C.; Denise Middleton and her husband Bob, Beeton; Cecille Boyne and her husban Mark, of Jasper, Alberta, and another son T. Jerome and his wife Laurie. He is also survived by a grandson, Kyle Joseph Middleton and three sisters, Ursula .Donahue, Thornhill; Louise (Mrs. Paul Stanley) Edmonton and Helen Moriarty, Wayne Michigan. Friends were received on April 3 and 4 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, Willowdale. Funeral mass was held on April 5 from St. Mary Immaculate Church, Richmond Hill. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Thorn- hill, Donations to charity of one's choice would be appreciated, if desired. WILLIAM WHEATLEY At Imperial Union Hospital, in Imperial Saskatchewan on Friday, March 28, William A. Wheatley died at age 83. The funeral service was held in Bethel United Church in liberty, Saskatchewan on March 31. Inter- ment was in liberty Cemetery. Mr. Wheatley was the principal of Liberty Public and High School from 1928 until 1962, when he retired from teaching to become a successful farmer with the help of his wife, Margaret, who will continue to reside in liberty. Surviving Mr. Wheatley in the Seaforth area are his sister Mildred, of Seaforth and a brother Dyke, living on the home farm in McKillop. Mr. Wheatley is predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wheatley and one brother George as well as two sisters Minnie and Ferne. Larry Wheatley, one of several nieces and nephews, attended the funeral in Liberty, Saskatchewan. FAMILY OBITUARIES TERESA VERONICA LANE Teresa Veronica Lane, of Hibbert Town- ship died Sunday, April 6, 1986 at the Seaforth Community Hospital. She was 65. The former Teresa Atkinson, Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband, Joseph Lane, daughters, Mary Lou and her husband Jerry Staples of Dublin, and Catherine Anne and her husband Rick Miller of Strathroy; and sod Frank, at home. Also surviving are grandchildren Jenny, Angela and Joey; four sisters, Mary Flanna- gan of Toronto, Marg Wallington of Burling- ton, Jenny Brown of Kinkora and Helen Morris of Seaforth. She was predeceased by one brother James and one sister Anna Coyne. Friends can call at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Horne until 11 a.m. today (Wednes- day) when Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban Roman Catholic Church, St. Columban. MARY TURVEY Mary Margaret (Mayme) Turvey, formerly Mary Archibald, of Brussels, died Friday, April 4, at Huronview. She was 92 -years -old, Mrs . Turvey was predeceased by her husband, Charles Roy Turvey, who died in 1975. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Hazel (MN. Dick W hitfield) and Jean (Mrs. Ed Miller) as well as her parents, Thomas Archibald and Margaret Ireland. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Bill McTaggart ), one grandson Scott Jean of Almonte, one son, Robert of Carleton McTaggart, of London and two great -grand- Place, 17 grandchildren and 21 great children. ALViN MORLEY STOREY Alvin Morley Storey, of Seaforth, died at the Seaford) Community Hospital Monday, April 7, 1986. He was 79. Mr. Storey is survived by his wife Beatrice Ardtstrong; daughters, Mrs. Shirley Watson of Stratford; Gwen (Mrs. John Patterson) of Hulled Township; Joyce. (Mrs. Kod Doig) of Tuckersmith Township; Darlene of Toronto and Fay of Kitchener. Also surviving are.four grandchildren, two brothers, George 6f Guelph and Torrance of Palmerston and one sister Mee. Catherine Gass of Fergus. He was predeceased by two sisters Grace and Margaret. Friends may call at the W itney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, until 2 p.m. Wednesday where funeral services will be held. Interment Baird's Cemetery, Stanley Township. A Legion memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening. ALICE REBECCA (BROOME) AGAR Alice Rebecca (Broome) Agar of Sarnia and formerly of Seaforth died Tuesday, April 1, 1986 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Sarnia. She was 80. Following her marriage Mrs. Agar and her husband lived in Roxboro for some years, then moved to Seaforth. Afterliving for a while in Seaforth they moved to Sarnia, where Mr. Agar had taken a job with Polysar. Following his retirement they returned to Egmondville and resided there until Mr. Agar's death in 1973. Mrs. Agar then moved to a home on High Street in Seaforth where she lived until returning to Sarnia three years ago. Mrs. Agar is survived by daughters; Dorothy (Mrs. Bert McClure) of Seaforth; Jean (Mrs. Donald Keyes) of Point Edward; and Donna (Mrs. William Musgrove) of Camlachie. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one sister Anne (Mrs. Irwin Agar) of Sarnia. She was predeceased not only by her husband Wesley Agar, but by three sisters and four brothers as well. The family received friends at the Bali and Falconer "Box Funeral Chapel" in Seaforth Inst Wednesday, A funeral service was held at St. Thomas Anglican Church Thursday officiated by the Reverend Gordon Simmons. Pallbearers were five grandsons; Douglas Keyes, Robert Musgrove, James Scarrow, John Scarrow, and Douglas Scarrow and grandson -in-law Michael Kilbreath. As expressions of sympathy donations to the chanty of one's choice would be gratefully appreciated. DAVID G. MacFARLANE David G. MacFarlane of Almonte died at the Carleton Place hospital on March 24. He was 99. Mr. MacFarlane was born March 15, 1887 at Rosetta, Lanark Township to George and Margaret Rodger MacFarlane. He grew up at Rosetta working on the telephone lines then was married to Jennie Somerville on June 30, 1915. They made their home at Walton, Huren County where he farmed for nearly 30 years. In 1942 he sold the farm and moved to Almonte with his family where he went into the lumbering business. He had been ailing in health for several years. He is survived by'two daughters, Mrs, Alan Thompson (Elizabeth), Carleton Place, THE HURON EXPOSITOR, APRIL 9, 1986 — A9 WAYNE WARD Wayne Wesley W ard, of RR 2 Dublin, died Saturday at his residence. He was 28. 13om at Listowel, he was it son of James Ward and the former Laura Savage, of Seaforth. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, the former Debbie Anderson, one son Shawn, and three daughters, Jean, Holly and Katie, all at home' four brother, Irwin and Lorne, both of Seaforth, Lyle, of Brussels, and Neil, of Millbank; two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Helen) McLaughlin; of Seaforth, and Mrs. Ruth Arsenault, of Stratford; and parents-in-law Mervin and Jean Anderson, of TlinunMs. Friends were received at the W hitney- Ribey Funeral Horne where a service was held Tuesday. Burial was fn Brussels Cemetery. JOAN JONES Joan Jones, of Walton, died Friday, April 4, 1986 at the Seaforth Community Hospital. She was 52. Born at Dashwood she was a daughter of Edna Fischer Weber, of Exeter, and the late Harold Weber. Surviving besides her mother are her husband, Mervin (Casey) Jones, two sons, Michael and Mark, and one daughter, Michelle, all at home; and one sister, Mrs. Leetand (Donna) Restemayer, of Dashwood. Friends were received at the Whitney- Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth, where a service was held Sunday. Burial was in Dashwood Lutheran Cemetery. Service presents message The Sunday evening service at Bethel Bible Church, Egmondville was very much appre- ciated by the senior citizens who attended. The message of the evening was presented In a unique way. By using a combination of suitable hymns, passages of scripture, and comments, the Pastor Rev. A. Robertson suggested how we could meet the strain and stress of living. The special music for the evening was the Lohb Brothers' Quartet of Clinton. Bruce, Murray, Hugh and Gordon's singing of gospel hymns was much appreciated. After the service refreshments were served providing a time of Christian fellowship. Ann Ryan and Dorothy Papple arranged the program for the recent meeting of the ladies auxiliary of the Ffrst Presbyterian Churdr. Mrs. Papple opened with a poem and a piece of poetry was read on Roxboro as it was in 1919. It told about the different stores, mills, and a tavern they had then. It mentioned the Scott McMidtaels, Mc142f1- lans, McDowells and flays. Mrs. Crouch recited a couple of pieces on contentment written by Wendell Holmes and one on forgetting things that happened.
