A recommendation from the Huron County board of education's special education advisory committee calls for "trainable retarded" and the school's name to be dropped. The board's executive committee will be looking further into the matter, The three schools are Golden Circle at Wingham public school, Huron Hope at J.A.D. McCurdy in Centralia and Queen Elizabeth at Victoria public school in Goderich.
