This Ontario Municipal Board Hearing was scheduled to hear objections which were
received subsequent to the passing of Zoning By-law 37-1985 for the Township of
Tuckersmith. A total of 3 objections to this By-law were received and 2 of these
objections were withdrawn, leaving 1 outstanding unresolved objection.
The purpose of this By-law is to regulate the use of lands and the character, location and
use of buildings and structures and to prohibit certain buildings and structures in
various defined areas of the Township of Tuckersmith. The Zoning By-law implements
the Township of Tuckersmith Secondary Plan and provides for specific land use
regulations to ensure that the policies of the Secondary Plan are realized.
The one outstanding unresolveciobjection pertains to Lot 7, Registered Plan 232. located
in the Hamlet of Egmondville and belonging to Mr. William C. Brown, Sr. Mr. Brown
has objected to the VR1-2 zoning included within Section 12.6.4.2 of the Zoning By-law.,
This zoning recognizes an existing towing service, subject to certain provisions.
The Ontario Municipal Board may amend the By-law in response to the above appeal.
