The market at Brussels Stockyards met a
good demand picking up most of the losses
during the week.. Buyers were selective but
active. Feeder pigs continued at firm prices.
There were 607 cattle and 808 pigs on offer.
Choice Steers -78.00 to 82.00 with a sale at
88.50.
Good Steers -75.00 to 78,00.
Two steers consigned by Bob Blackwell of
R.R. 1, Ripley averaging 1175 lbs, sold for
85.00 with his lot of 11 steers averaging 1238
lbs. selling for 81.80,.

Van Klooster's at RR 2, St. Paul's and the
other at Dave Kropf's at RR 1, Milverton -
mark the first in this series for the president.
The OFA head said the kitchen meetings
emphasize that the provincial organization
takes a grassroots approach. He noted one off
the group's strength is to be able to deal with
issues quickly because it meets once a month
in Toronto.
And the topics at the kitchen meetings?
"Everything from soup to nuts," said Mr.
Pelissero.
He will be back in the area when he visits
Huron County on March 10.
