A get well message goes out to Erle Dow who is in Seaforth Community Hospital and'tp Harvey Brown who is in Clinton Hospital,;' , ROSEMARY (NEW NHAM) PELL, a gradu- ate of Seaforth District High School and the University of Waterloo, was awarded a $1,000 Fellowship by Xerox Canada limited at the Annual Awards Luncheon held on January 29, 1986 at Wilfred Laurier Univer- sity. The award was for completing the third year in the Master of Business Administra- tion Programme with a consistently high academic record. Rosemary is at present the full-time co-ordinator of the Independent Living Project of Guelph. 1 OBITUARIES JOYCE I ONA TEIFER Joyce Leona Telfer, of Turnberry Street, Brussels, died February 18, at the Wingham and District Hospital,' at the age of 49. Mrs. Telfer (Fleet) is survived by her husband Ken Telfer, one son David, of Guelph and three daughters Linda Albert, Wiarton; Barbara (Mrs. Mike Albert), Brussels; and Grace (Mrs. Bernie Bailey), of W Ingham. She is also survived by a sister, Emily Seiler, of Palmerston and 12 grand- children. After resting at the Brussels Chapel of M. L. Watts Funeral Homes a funeral service was held on February 21 with the Reverend V. Jamieson presiding. Burial in Brussels Cemetery. W INNIFRED (SAVAGE) MOONEY Mrs. W allace Mooney, of Massey, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliott Lake on Tuesday, February 18, 1986. She was 69. Born in Seaforth she was the former Winnifred Savage, the only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. F.S. Savage. After graduation from Seaforth Collegiate Institute she trained as a teacher and for a number of years taught in Seaforth and Massey. Specializing in craft work Mrs. Mooney was on the staff of the Banff School of Fine Arts for several years and was widely recognized for her aptitude in this field. She is survived by her husband Wallace Mooney of Massey, a son John and daughter-in-law Suzanne, of Massey and a daughter Ellen Mooney of Hamilton. She is predeceased by two brothers, Ross Savage, formerly of Seaforth, and Murray Savage, of Toronto. The remains rested at the McNally Minerai Home, Massey until Thursday, February 20 when funeral services were held at St. Andrew's United Church, Massey with Rev. H. Jackson officiating. Nine tables were in play and prizes went to ladies high, Mary Chapple; men's high, Harold Coleman; consolation Jean Pinder and Art Finlayson. High bridge score was held by Marjorie Lfngelbach. President Edith Dunlop presided and a minutes silence was observed by all in respect of the late Cliff Broadfoot, a long time member of the men's bowling club.
