Mr. DenHaan lists tax preparation and
consultation, with farm industry and sniali
business as his specialties, as his primary
function in the company. He was first
introduced to the business in • 1964 by his
father, who established a business at that
time. It was abusiness Mr, DenHaan said he
grew into, eventually took over, and has since
expanded.
At present he says his work takes him
anywhere within an approximate 120 mile
radius.
In addition to his skills in tax preparation
and consultation Mr. DenHaan also has a
real estate license, and specializes in dairy
operations: He is associated with Vander-
Zwaap, of Hamilton, whose main involve-
ment is with European immigrants wishing to
farm in Canada.
Mr. DenHaan say's he also wishes to work
on the appraisal end of the farm operations

and is looking forward to growing in the
Seaforth area.
Harry, his wife Marilyn and their three
children moved to Seaforth in 1981 from
Hamilton. Since arriving in Seaforth Mr.
DenHaan has been heavily involved with the
Boy Scouts, and is currently District
Commissioner for Perth County. He also has
a keen interest in the various community
organizations and was one of the instigators
of SCOUT, 'Seaforth Community Organiza-
tions United Together.
Doug and Cathy Elliott also moved to
Seaforth in 1981, from Wingham. Mr. Elliott
indicates the couple's main interest is golf,
although Mr. Elliott is the 1986-87 president
of the Seaforth Lions Club.
The two men will officially celebrate the
opening of their business with a grand
opening ceremony Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The
public is invited to tend, and to ask
questions.
