December 30, when secret pals for 1985 were revealed and gifts exchanged, along with an exchange of Christmas cookies and recipes. Convenors of Education and Cultural Activities. Lillian Douglas and Doris Miller were in charge of the meeting. Mrs, Hobert McCaughey accompanied Carols on the piano. Mrs. Douglas presided calling on Mts. President Leona McDonald welcomed everyone. opening with a poem for Christ- mas, the Institute Ode was repeated in unison then the Institute Grace prior to the supper. Berva Watson was in charge of the program assisted by other branch directors. Marjory Humphries and Maxine Marks. Second prize for a crocheted pillow was Karen Meehan. Sarnia. A short business period brought the discussion to try one Bird party a month, on a special occasion, the date to be set at the January meeting.
