Your crazy!" "Yes I am, unless — you have a better idea Cheryl?" Now Jessica was grinning from ear to ear. because she knew Cheryl would come up with poinething. • "Well?" said Jessica, "do you have something in that brilliant head of yours?" •'"Qf course Ido!" Cheryl replied haughti- ly. "Scone of uaare going down to Florida. If you want you can join us!" • "Reilly I'd love to. you knew you've real- ' ly outdone yourself this time Cheryl." Later the two girls sat down with some Qthet girls like Amy Fetch, Kim Field, Lisa Tumel and a few others. They decided they Would fly down.. It only cost $300 and each paid for her own ticbet. When they got to Florida they would rent a car: If all of them put in $100 each, the total would be 1800. I decided I'd ask Jen for the money. That was one good thing about Jen. She, was always there when you needed her, especial- ly for money. And since _I spent all my' money on clothes and makeup I•barely had $100. "Hey!. but when are we going to leave?" asked Kim. • We decided we were going to leave the day after we got off of school.. The next day I went into Jan's room and asked her if I could borrow some money. (I had $100 dollars, Christmas present money and since I hadn't bought the present yet I was using it to buy myself 1 great big Christmas present which was going to Florida of -course). "What for?" asked Jen. • Wella bunch of us were planning on going down to Florida for the winter break." I answered. "Hmin, well I guess you could .borrow $200, because I'll just barely have $300 left after I buy Christmas Presents. I'm sorry I •can't give you more. I can't help, but from wondering but aren't you going home." "Nope! and either are you, because there was a change in plans and mom's in. Washington." • Bye and Thanks alot Jen, I mean for the m • Jen went to her dresser opened the third dresser drawer and came back with $200. Jess took the money, and went back to her room to start packing: Inthe morning all 8 girls were up at the crack of dawn. Jess was just putting Pins in her hair, when Cheryl walked in. • ."Aren't you ready yet, you Should be finished putting up your hair and downstairs, come on movelt!" said Cheryl. "Okay, Fm coming! I'm-coming.-Doret blow your top." said Jessica. • Jess picked up ..her bags and went downstairs she had already said good-bye to her friends and Jen of course. :.Finally we were on the plane hi our seats • ocie)( L-)1/4iitilcolaufseat belts buckled on our way to Trace hadquite a trip and when we were /&;, EC ' finally m' Florida we were overflowhig with excitement. Jen gave Jessa comforting hug.- "But what made you come here anyway." ' "Well since you were here nobody was go- ing to be at home, so I came here, replied Jen. "How did you get the money. You said you couldn't loan me $300 cause you were saving for Christmas presents." "You see I was saving money for Christmas Presents but since you weren't piing home an& mom .& dad wouldn't be home 1 decided I'd send them a card and come see you, at least we're spending Christmas together, even though mom & dad aren't here.
