Once again the Ladies Auxiliary have
• more than shown the Legion men how to be
' good members in .an organization. This
week the girls have catered to four banquets
. which have added to quite a few hours of
•• volunteer Erne. To the committees in charge
• and all those who worked, again the Legion,
says thank you.
The Bingo committee would like to thank
all the members who helped is any way and
to the general public who helped to make the
•bingos successful again this year. The New
Year's Eve tickets are now available at the
• Branch and from the entertainment com-
• mittee as well. Don't leave it to the last
minute to purchase yours. The format is the
same as last year, a social hour from six to
• seven. , A ' smorgasbord is scheduled for
seven with dancing for the remainder of the
sign your name right away.
Winners of the November Early -Bird
draw are as follows: for a year's free
membership, Harry Nesbitt, Steve Hook,
Bob Beuttemniller, Howard Dayman and
Murray Servos. There are only two weeks
left to pay those dues for the December
draw so please make an effort to make it
down to the Branch and help the member-
ship, committee win another plaque for the
evening to the music of "Solid Ivory". On Branch.
New Year's Day the Branch is holding Don't forget the Stag Euchre on
another "Levee" when Members from other December 23 at 8 p.m. for turkeys..There is
organizations are invited to be present. a mixed euchre on December 16 (tonight)
)* The listfor the Zone bowling is now on the upstairs at 8 .p.m. The prizes will be
bulletin board, if anyone is interested please turkeys, so all euchre players this is your ,

• Euchre with volunteers was held on
Thursday afternoon at 2 pm at the Seaforth
Manor.
Prizes were won by Ladies high - Mamie
Ross and Lone Hands - Edith Salo. For the
men it was High - Elmer Bakcsy, Lone
HandsFrank Smale. Consolation winners
• were Mary Ryan and Keith Herman. The
next euchre will be 'held on Monday after-
noon December 21st at 2 pm with Hazel
McGonigle and Mary Nolan in charge of
• lunch. and Marjorie Maloney the prizes.
• Worship service was held on Wednesday
• with Rev. W. Barber of First Presbyterian
Church in charge. On Friday afternoon
Father •Caruana of St. James Catholic
Church held mass for all Catholic residents.
Tuesday morning student volunteers from
Seaforth Public School assisted with wheel
chair bowling and la the afternoon bingo
was enjoyed.

•.Alice Boyes, Denis Arney;, Madeline Slat-
tery, Wm. Connolly, 'Madge Remes,
Margeurite Shell and Eva Netzke. Fins
were shown this week on Friday morning.
Saturday afternoon two story book
characters and Santa from the Seaforth
Egmondville Brdomball league visited
Seaforth Manor and distributed a treat to all
residents. The three characters turned out
to be Nora Eckert, Audrey Smith and Bren-
da Empey. They had residents and staff
guessing as to their identity.

Scott and Denis Arney. Visiting with Bill
were his wife Isabel and Loraine Scott of
Brucefield. Isabel also brought a delicious
chocolate cake for all to share.

Gladys Ruston spent Sunday in Stratford
with her family.
Verda Cameron was visited by daughter-
in-law Audrey also grandaughter Anne
Boshart and family.
Ross McClure visited with his father
Robert McClure.
Len Bloomfield spent last Friday in
Goderich with family and friends.
Mamie Ross was out with Mrs. Kirby far
lunch on Saturday.
Bill and Janice Morris and Jimmy visited
the former's mother Helen Morris.
Patrick Ryan Was visited by his sister

on Sataurday and they had lunch together

Catherine Austin was visited by her sister-
