UNITED CHURCH NEWS
The Second 'Sunday of Advent was
celebrated at St. Andrew's United Church.
Barbara Cooper presided at the organ and
accompanied the choir in the ministry of
music when they sang ”A Song of the
Shepherds". The second candle of Advent
was lit as a reminder that at the heart of
Christmas is a gift - God's gift of Himself to
us in the'person of Jesus Christ.
A reminder that next Sunday, December
13 will be White Gift Service. Donations may
be made to Fatally and Children's Services,
Survival Through Friendship House and
World Relief. The Sunday School Christmas
Party will take plea on Sunday afternoon,
December 13.

Goderich took 'a 2-0 lead, then Seaforth
came back to tie it up. Goderich struck for
three more goals to take a 5-2 lead early in
the second half.
The girls dug down deep and came up with

to have Goderich tie it up with less than a
minute to play, forcing overtime.
Both teams worked hard but Goderich
came up with the winning goal early Into the
third period of sudden death overtime.

Pee Wee hockey
potential starting
to show in wins
On November 24 the Seaforth Pee Wees
travelled to Milverton where once again
they came up with a tie. This time the score
was 4-4.
The lads played really,hard and everyone
was satisfied with a tie after the team's los-
big streak.
On November 27 the Pee Wees travelled to
Brussels and had a big win. The score was
7-1. The guys were really eliciting and play -
Ing hockey.
On December 3 the Pee Wees travelled to
Clinton where once again the boys started
off playing some tremendous heckey. It was
a much better_game then what the score in-
dicated as Clinton got most of their goals in
the third period, The final score was 6-1 in
Cinton's favor.
