Atom 1I game. nip and tuck
On November 25th, Seaforth Atom IIs
travelled to Zurich. It was nip and tuck all
through the game.
At the end of the first period Zurich held
. them to a 1-0 score. In the second period
again Zurich got the first goal but Seaforth
came back with two fast goals to tie it up.
Tremendous work, was done by both
teams but Zurich took the Iead several
seconds after Seaforth's tie. A minute and a
half later Seaforth tied it up again. The en-
tire third period was scoreless as everyone
tried to protect their net. The final score was
3-3. Scoring for Seaforth were Colin

On December Seaforth was at home to
Elma Logan, and this time started the scor-
ing at the 7:33 mark of the 'first period.
Seaforth nudged another one in at the 4:34
mark and Elma Logan followed soon with
their first goal.
The game was fast and furious up and
down the Ice with goals going in both nets.
The final score was Seaforth 6 - Elma
Logan 4.
Scorers for this game were Jeff Ryan (2),
Matt Vock (2), Brad Moore and Steve
VandenHengel. Assists went to Jason Mtfr-
ray, Steve VandenHengel.
Bantams beat Milverton
The Seaforth Bantams were at home to
Milverton last Tuesday night and won 6-3,
Ray Murray scored two goals and had two
assists. Mike Murray scored one goal and
got two assists, Brent Van den Akker scored
one goal and assisted on one goal. Ted Sills
and Kevin McLiwain each scored one goal.
Jason McNichol, Jason Horan and Brad
Schroeder each assisted on one goal.
Novice end garne
with Blyth in tie
The Seaforth Novice hockey team played
Blyth to a 2-2 tie in regular season action on
Saturday.
Seaforth started off the scoring with a
goal netted by Shaun Anstett, assisted by
Jason Smith. The action was back, and forth
from that point on and with only one minute
and 14 seconds remaining in the period
Blyth tied the score.
Both teams played strongly during the se-
cond period. Blyth had a power play at the
8:43 mark, but the home team managed to
hold them off with good defensive playing.
The score remained tied after the second
period of play.
It wasn't until there were three minutes .
left in the final period, that Chris Marion
decided to get things done. He popped one in
to put Seaforth one goal ahead. Blyth,
however, wasn't about to give up, and less
than two minutes later they scored to tie the
game once again.
Seaforth had many chances, but no one
managed to put the puck in the net.
Ringette Tweens
down ,Forest 12-2
The Seaforth Tweens Ringette team
outplayed the Forest Tweens on Sunday,
December 6 to give themselves a 12.2 win.
The strong Seaforth team only allowed
Forest to score one goal in the first period
and one goal in the second. Janice Rodney
played in net for this game.
Tracy Fortune led the scoring for Seaforth
with four goals, while Jill Beetles had the
hat trick. Andrea Gingerich picked up two
and Julie Carter, Kim Rau and Robyn Car-
nochan picked up singles.
Assists went to Kim Rau (2) and one each
to Jodie Hugill and Robyn C.arnochan.
All of the girls played a great game.
This,weekend the Tweens are entered into
a tournament in Mitchell with their firat
game being played Friday evening at 8 p.tn.
