assists to Pat Moylan, Derek Gridzak and
John Moylan. Canadians points went to
Jonathon-Hugill--John McKercher, James

The St. James Bowling League is proving
to be very competitive, with all teams able
to ,win on any given night. Monday,
November 9 was no exception when the
Leopards edged the Jaguars 443. Ken Moran
led the Leopard attack with 200, 240 and a
604 triple. Sandy Broadfoot had 214 - 573 to
also help the scoring. Gerry Armstrong 216 -
594, Bruce Clark 200,211 - 572, Albert Boven
245 - 564, Shirley ,Brugger 216 - 563, and Pa
Kenny 205 - 515 bowled well for the Jaguars.
The Cougars gained to within one point of
the first place Jaguars, when they downed
the Tigers 5-2. Cathy Broome was top for the
Cougars with 220 - 575, Richard Love 196 -
536, Pat Ryan 202 - 530 and Don Nolan 185 -
530 also had good scores. George. Love had
games of 230, 255, 237 and a 722 triple to lead
'the Tigers, Carol Johnston 200 - 533 'and
Karen Hoegy 173 - 496.
The Panthers outscored the Lions 5-2 with
Dan Bennewies 239, 243 - 657, Brian Love
202, 210 - 588, and Jim Dalrymple 199 - 567
leading the way. Murray Bennewies 230,
190, 300 - 720 and Gloria Love 221 - 519 were
high for the Lions. Team standings -
Jaguars 39, Cougars 38, Leopards 34, Pan-
thers 32, Lions 26, Tigers 20.
, COMMERCIAL LEAGUE
The Commercial Bowling League again
saw some upsets when the last place
Monaco team downed the Gyps* 7-0 and
2441-2246 in total pins, on November 12.
Jerry Fuhr led Monaco with a 219 single
and a 619 triple. Wilha Vandenberk was top
bowler for the Gypsies with 223 - 585.
Canada edged Japan 5-2 and were ahead
2663-2421 in total pins. Claudette Elliott had
a fine night With a 260 single and a 683 triple
to lead Canada in scoring. Len Schoonder-
woerd with 202 - 543 was top for Japan.
USA shut out Cuba 7-0 downing them
2486-2203 in total pins. Harry Deloyer has
the high single for USA with 220 and Gordon
Murray bowled the high triple . with a 616.
Starlight Lanes
hold 3-6-9
On Saturday, the Starlight Lanes held a
34-9 Tournament with some fine games be-
ing bowled.
Murray Bennewies came out on top after
some very close competition. Murray had
high games of 338 and 365 for a five game
total of 1518. George Love was second with
highs of 320 and 297 and 1468 for fiVe,George
Johnston with 333-341-1431. Roger Edwards
304, 299 - 1378. Arie Van Diepen 266, 279 -
1232, Carol Johnston was high for the ladies
267, 262 - 1200.
The next tournament is scheduled for
Saturday, December 5 at 7 p.m.

Seaforth Tigers came up with another
strong effort as they trounced Mitchell 31-17
in Mens' Intertown Bowling League action
bowled in viitehen,
Murray Bennewies had top genies of 322
and 291 for 1207 total pitis. Jack Fuller had
high games of 241, 229, 282., 251 and a 1181 for
five,
Neil Bateau also bowled well with 210,
234, 275, 239 and 206 for 1164 and.Vion 4 of 5
pines. Erich Matzold 278, 241 - 1103 and
George Love 261, 231 - 1074 helped the Tiger
Sebring. '
Late Johnston led Mitchell With 237, 271,
249 - 1131, Murray Kraemer 237, 229. 283

High.bdys were Craig Harris who knocked
down a 153 and Ryan Van Dooren who bowl-
ed 122.
High doubles were also :Carrie Bannon at
165 and Barbie Stokes at 152, while Craig
Harris ended with 254 and Ryan Van Dooren
a 208 for the boys.
High averages are Carrie holding 94 and
Heather McMillan at 80. Boys high averages
. are Kevin McDonald at 110 and Craig Harris
close behind at 108.
Standings are Bulldogs and Snowballs tied
at 25, Ghostbusters 21, Blue Jays 17, Califor-
nia Cuties 15 and Starfighters at 10.
Sunday night mixed high scores were
Chandra Stolar with a 122 single and Jqe
Kenny with a 99 for the bantams. Junior
singles were Tracie Carter with 209 while
Tom Hunt bowled a 149.
Senior scores were Sue Kuzmich at 165
and Jeff Alce who bowled a 210.
' High triples for the Bantams were Chan-
dra Stolar with a 339 while Joe Kenny bowl-
ed 280. Tratie Carter took high for the
high bowler
Juniors at 498 while Robbie Holmes scored
375. High Senior triples go to Sue Kuzmick at
476 and Jeff Ake with a great finish at 615.
Sunday standings are No -Name 24, Hav-
ing Fun 19, Strikers 18, Strike Force 17, and
at 14 are the Cool Cats and Spare it Ups.
Bantams play well
The Seafoarth, Bantams travelled to
Aylmer for their rst hockey tournament of
the year. Competition was stiff.
Seaforth won the first game against Glen -
brook 4-3. Ray Murray scored two goals and
assisted on one. Karsten Carroll and Jason
Schoonderwoerd each scored one goal. Mike
Murray assisted on two goals. Brent van
den Akker and Paul McLlwain each
assisted on one goal.
Seaforth continued to play well in the se-
eond game but lost 4-3 to Kingsville. Jason
McNichol scored two goals. Ray Murray
scored one goal and got one assist. Erent
vanden Akker also assisted on one goal.
On Tuesday night the Seaforth Bantams
will host the Zurich Bantams at 6:30 p.m.
