Noel Stenson and Russell Eedy were
united in marriage on Saturday, October 3
1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bride is
the daughter of Robert and Kathy Stenson of •
Milwaukee and the groom is the son of Clif-
lord and Ruby Eedy of Winthrop. Matron of
honor was Brenda Jones, friend of the bride
DIETZ-SCHOLTEN • and bridesmaids were Marg Haag and De -
Brenda Marie Dietz of London and Ronald
Franciscus Scholten of London were Mar-
ried Saturday, July 11, 1987 at Egmondville
United Church by the Reverend Cheryl -Ann
Stadlebauer-Sampa. The bride is the
daughter of -Milton and Wanda , Dietz of
Seaforth and the groom is the son of the late
Martin and Christina Scholten of
Woodstock Maid of_honorwasliancy_Dietz
of London, sister of the • bride and
bridesmaids were, Jane Carnochan of Lon-
don, sister of the bride, Deborah Jamieson
of Clinton, friend of the bride and Joyce
Workman of Kippen, friend of the bride.
Best man was Hans Scholten of Woodstock,
brother of the groom and guests -were
ushered by John Scholten of London,
brother of the groom, Brian Dietz of
Seaforth, brother of the bride and Craig
Stone of London; friend of the groom..
Following a reception at the Mitchell Com-
munity Centre the couple took a honeymoon
trip to Pennsylvania. They now reside in

Margaret Clark of RR 3 Guelph and John
Hauwert of Seaforth were.. marrii-Oatur-
day, May 16, 1987 at Calvary Baptist Church
in Guelph by the Reverend Archie Ballan-
tyne. The bride. is the daughter of Audrey
Clark of London and the groom is the son of
Mary Hauwert of Seaforth. Sue Groot of
Stratford wasmatron of honor for her sister,
and there were four flower girls;' Kyorim and
Krissy Groot of Stratford, ..nieces of the
bride, and Amanda Schweitzer of London
and Michelle Hauwert of Owen Sound,
nieces of the groom. The bride's nephew,
Janne Groot of Stratford was ringbearer..
Bob Costello of Seaforth was best man for
the groom and ushering the guests were the
bride's brother-in-law Cor Groot of Strat
ford and the groom's brother Nick Hauwert
of Owen Sound. Music was provided by
organist Gwen Bradshaw and soloist Ruth
. Ann Scheel. Among the special guests who
gathered. at the Victoria Park West Golf
Club for the reception, was the bride's
grandmother Ethel Howie of RR 3 Guelph,
since deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Hauwert are
now living in Aberfbyle (RR 3 Guelph).

OBITUARIES
HARRIET E. MACLEAN
Harriet (Hattie) E. MacLean died
Wednesday, November 4, 1987 at the Kit-
chener Waterloo Hospital.
The daughter of the late James and Alice
Ellis, Mrs. MacLean taught kindergarten
for 27 years before her retirement in 1955.
She is survived by her husband Roderick
MacLean; a sister Dorothy Edy of Cornwall
and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers James
and Harold.
A funeral service was held Friday,
November 6 and interment was in Waterloo
Parkview Cemetery. Arrangements were
made through the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral
Home, Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy donations can
be made to St. Andrew's Memorial Anglican
"Jhurch Building Fund.
THOMAS LOUIS DORSEY
Thomas. Louis Dorsey died Tuesday, Oc-
tober 27, 1987 at the Mitchell Nursing Home.
He was. 67.
A son of the late Louis Dorsey and Agnes
Morris, Mr. Dorsey is survived by a brother
, Joseph and his wife Hazel of Dublin, and a
Sister Mary and her husband Vincent
Gooder of London.
Friends were received at the Whitney
Ribey Funeral Horne, 87 Goderich Street
Seaforth, on Friday, October 30 when Mass
of Christian Burial was held at St. Patrick's
Roman Catholic Church in Dublin.
Interment was at the St. Colurnban
Cemetery. Pall bearers were John Arts, Joe
Devereaux, Thomas Kale, Bill McLaughlin,
Ferg Kelly, and Tom Melody. Father- Car-
rigan officiated.
HARVEY STEPHENSON
• Harvey W. Stephenson, of RR 2 Walker-
ton, died Saturday, November 7, 1987 at the
County of Bruce General Hospital, Walker-
ton. He was 77. •
Mr. Stephenson was a retired employee of
Singer Co. of Canada.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Eloise (Gerry) Jewell and daughter Sheila
of Walkerton.
Also surviving is a sister Eileen Chapman
of Listowel.
Mr. Stephensen was predeceased by hiS
parents, Wesley and Mae Stephenson of
Brussels.
The family received friends at the Tanner
and Pear -Son Funeral Home, Walkerton and
a funeral service .,was held on Monday,
November 9. Interment was in Walkerton
Cemetery.

ROBERT NELSON REID
Robert Nelsen Reid of Walton, died Thura-
daY, November 5, 1987 at the Stratford
General HoSpital. He Was 91. '
• Born in McKillop Township Mr. Reid was
educated at the SS. No. 7 McKillop, was a
farmer until 1959 and later trucked gravel.
He was a member Of Duff's United Church,
Walton.
Mr. Reid is Survived by his wife, the
Winer Annie Johnston McTaggart.
Also surviving are sisters, Edna Hackwell
of Seaforth and Marjorie Ryan of Walton.
He was predeceased by sisters Hattie
(Mrs. Joe Hackwell) and Ethel (Mrs. Ebner
Hackvvell).
Family and friends were received at
Watts Funeral Chapel aid a funeral service
was held November 7. Reverend Bonnie
Lamble officiated. Interment was in
Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth. •
Pallbearers were Campbell Wey, Douglas
FraSer, Wm. COutts, Kett Shortreed; Roy
Williamson and Jack McIlwain,
Flower beaters Were Brian McGaVin,
Denny AchilleS, Doug Wey and Clayton
Fraser. Soleist was Made McGavin who
Sang "Unto the hills" and pianist was
Margery Huether.

Charity Stenson, sister of the bride. Best
man was Robert Eedy of Winthrop, brother
of the groom and guests were ushered by
Jim Holmes of London, friend of the groom,
Rob Stenson, brother of the bride and Ken
Jones; friend of the groom. After the
ceremony and reception the couple honey-
mooned in • Williamsburg;- Virginia a
Washington, D.C. They now reside i
Kitchener.
