Patrick's School in Dublin captured the Huron -Perth Roman
Catholic Separate School. Board championship reeently.
Members of the team are, back, Bill Ryan, Wayne Schoonder-
woerd, Jason Murray, Scott Saunders, Jeff Ryan, Joe Murray and
Kevin Diegel. Middle, Pat Cook, Mark Uniac, Jeff Flanagan,
Lawrence Flanagan, Mike Moylan and Jim Crowley. Front, James
Stapleton, Scott Vosper, Darrel Cronin, Greg McCarthy and Riley

Leopards climb in St. James bowling league

The Leopards blanked the Tigers 7-0 in St.
James Bowling League action at Starlight
Lanes on November 2. Ken Moran had a fine
opening game of 305 and a 661 triple. Sandy
Broadfoot also had a good night with 216,
211, 230 - 657 and Rose Feeney's 204 - 496
helped too.
George Love's 222, 286 - 706 and Carol
Johnston's 210 - 589 were best for the Tigers.
The Leopards jumped into third place with
their victory. •
The Jaguars held first place when they
downed the Panthers 5-2. Gerry Arm- •
strong's 239, 205, 249 - 693 led the Jaguars
while Pat Kenny's 236 - 616, .Bruce Clark's
236 -590 and Shirley Brugger's 253 - 587 were
helpful. Jim McGrath, with 225, 219 - 623 was
high bowler for the Panthers. Dan Ben-
newies 224 - 584, Jim Dalrymple 213 - 560,
Brian Love 178 - 506 and Olave Little 217 - 477
helped the scores.
The Cougars downed the Lions 5-2 to hold
second place in league standings Janice
Murray's 221, 213 - 618 and Don Nolan's 211 -
590 were high for the Cougars. Murray Ben-

Starlight Lanes in Seaforth, held the house
round of the TV Roll -off on Sunday,
November 1.
Each. Bowling Lane that participate in
this series, is entitled to send the winner into
the Ontario Playdowns. After 10 games of
bowling, Murray Bennewies came out the
winner with a 2,524 total. George Johnston
was second with 2,175, Randy Gridzak 2,103,
Terry Morey 2,016 and Arie Van Diepen
1,979.
Ringette Petites
down Goderich
The Seaforth Ringette Petites started off
the first game of the season on the right foot
with a winning score of 4-2 over Goderich.
The game was played November 8 on home
ice.
Early on in the first period Kathy
Devereaux started- the- scoring -with an
assist by Kelly Rau. •
Goderich played hard but couldn't get a
ring past goalie Lisa Gingerieh. With just
seconds remaining in the first period, Kelly
Rau got a second goal for Seaforth.
Into the second period, Seaforth Continued
to play aggressively and mine up with a
third goal, scored by Tricia Smith.
However, Goderich finally managed to get
past Seaforth's defense and put a ring in the
net. Carrie McLIWain wasn't ready to quit
and popped in the final ring for Seaforth,
assisted by Michelle Etue. With only three
minutes left of play, Goderich scored their
final goal for the night.
Players on the Petite team include Jen

niter Siemon, Katie Craig, Kelly Bau, Lisa
Gingerich, Jill Wood, Carrie McLlwain, Jill
Carnochan, Michelle Etue, Lisa McKay,
Kelly Ratcliffe, Kathy Devereaux, Christa
Leonhardt, Jennifer Marion, Krissy Holland
and Tricia Smith. Coaches are Rick Wood
and Bill Carnochan. The Petites will play
their next game on November 15 on home
ice against Mitchell.

Strong skating and passing contribute to win
The Seaforth Tweet): Ringette Team
travelled to Hensall to play the Exeter
Tweens on Saturday. Because of strong
skating and great passing, the Seaforth
team outplayed Exetei in both periods to
come home with a 9-1 win.

Tracy Fortune scored 3 and Jodie Hugill
scored 2. Assists went to Cheryl MeLlwain
with 3, Jodie Hugill with 2 and Kiin Rau, Jill
Betties and Janice Rodney each with one
